Aiah's POV
I sit in my dimly lit room, illuminated only by the soft glow of my laptop screen. I've been staring intensely at a photo of me and MIKHA for about hours now. My expression is a mixture of longing and determination. My Mikha Lim, I miss you so much! I wanna see you, I wanna be with you, I wanna feel you.
"Three years... Three years of loving her. But it's not enough. It's never been enough." I whispered.
I reached out to touch the photo, my fingers are trembling with a mix of anticipation and desperation. This takes me to the day we met. The very first time I laid my eyes on her.
It's raining hard and my boyfriend just broke up with me. Jeremy left me in the middle of the rain and immediately went to his new fling. Minsan iniisip ko, ganito ba ako kahirap mahalin? He broke up with me because according to him, I am too caring and controlling.
I sobbed and sat in the middle of the drive way, not minding the cars passing by. Malakas ang ulan pero mas malakas ang mga busina at mura ng mga drivers na dumadaan.
"Miss, may sayad ka ba?"
"Miss, hindi mo pag-aari ang daan!"
Pero sabi nga nila, there's always a rainbow after the rain. Mikha got out of her car at kahit sinisigawan na siya ng driver niya, nilapitan pa rin niya ako at binigyan ng payong.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"No one loves me. I'm such a failure." I sobbed.
"No. Don't say that. I love you, okay? I love you." she smiled and gave me her umbrella before leaving.
That's how we met. Pero sa kamalas-malasan, sa artista pa ako nahulog. I told my friend about Mikha but and he said I should pursue her. Palagi akong nagpupunta sa mall shows at events niya. I also sponsored one of her birthday parties. I love her, lahat gagawin ko for her.
"That's how I met your mom." I said and smiled creepily in front of the mirror. Ganyan ang linya na sasabihin ko kapag may mga kiddos na kami. We will be the perfect match!
