Maloi's POV

It's a Sunday afternoon, I am resting here in our living room while checking the orange app. I felt someone sitting beside me and I already knew who it was. Mikha, my younger sister. She has this cold aura, like her friends.

"Ate, can you help put my muscle tape?" she pouted while handing me the blue muscle tape. She's wearing our University warmer and inside it was her basketball jersey.

"Bakit ka pa naglalagay niyan e bangko ka naman?" I teased.

"Sus! Hindi ako 'yong bangko, si Jhoanna 'yon. Watch us play later, baka sakaling ma-in love si Aiah once she saw me play." She smirked and wiggled her eyebrows.

I'm polishing her muscle tape while the brat's scrolling through her phone. "Ayaw ko manuod. May asungot doon!" I replied.

"Oh, too late. Kahit di ka manuod, makikita mo pa rin siya today." Mikha said. "Anyways, thanks ate!" she said and walk towards the main door.

She opened it, revealing her best friend – Colet. Actually, even her other best friends are here; Jhoanna and Gwen. Jhoanna is the kindest and the most charming among them at kung hindi siya crush ni Stacey, malamang nagging crush ko na rin siya. Gwen is the coldest, like literal na hindi nagsasalita o nagrereact.

And there's Colet, 'yong asungot sa kanila. Sobrang yabang akala mo palaging may dalang hangin. Pwede na siyang sumali sa air supply band. Palagi 'yong nandito, nakikikain.

"Hi, Maloi!" Jhoanna greeted me and gave me a high five. See? She's so charming and nice. "Manunuod ka ba ng game naming?"

I shook my head. "I'm not sure eh. I'll ask my friends."

"Come on! Watch us play, Malou." Colet butted in at umakbay pa kay Jho.

"It's Maloi. Kausap ba kita? Huwag ka ngang nakikisali rito!" I told her sharply.

"Whatever, Melody. Basta manuod ka ah?" she said and smiled. Teka, bakit nagbago 'yong smile niya? Dati naman nakakabwesit yung ngiti niya ah! Bakit parang pumogi siya?
