Angel only carried me for a little while. "I'm not going to carry ya anymore," Angel said as he sat me back down gently. I began to walk beside Angel again, I was still tired but decided not to complain. He has done so much for me already and I haven't really known him very long.

Angel reached down, and slipped his fingers through mine."So, how did ya die?",he asked. I blushed from the touch of his hand.

"I...went cliff diving. The last thing I remember is hitting the water. The next thing I knew I was stuck down here." I then felt Angel give my hand a little squeeze.

"Aww, ya poor thing. It wasn't a suicide mission was it?", Angel asked, as he kept his eyes focused on the path in front of us. There was something about his expression that made it seem like he was hoping it wasn't.

I briefly looked down at my feet, "Umm..."

When we finally made it to the hotel. Angel opened the door and led me inside. "Charlie, there's someone here to see ya!", Angel's voice echoed through the hotel. A moment later Charlie walked into the lobby. "Thanks Angel!,"Charlie beamed. Angel put his hands on my shoulders, "Good luck,"he whispered before walking down a nearby hallway.

Charlie entered the lobby. "Hey," I began.

"Hi there, are you here to check in?" Charlie asked, clearly enthusiastic. Charlie seemed to be trying to hide most of her excitement about a new resident.

"Yes actually, what do I need?" I asked.

"We just have to fill out some paperwork and you will be all set. By the way, what's your name?", Charlie asked.

"Oh, I'm (y/n)," I replied.

"Well, it's nice to meet you! I hope you enjoy your stay with us here", she said excitedly as she gave me the key to my room and ran off. As I walked away I could hear her excitedly talking to Vaggie.

I began to walk down the hallway to my room when I saw Angel leaning against the wall. "Hey, (y/n), ya got checked in I see", Angel said.

"Yeah, it's nice to be here.", I replied.

"That's what ya think," Angel scoffed.

I unlocked my room and went inside. The headboard was black, as well as the other dressers and bedside tables, but the walls and bedset were red. Even the lights had a reddish tint to them. I think I will go shopping tomorrow. Crap, I don't have any money, I thought to myself. I need to get a job. Maybe I could find a decent job at that studio Angel works at? I think I will go there tomorrow, but I have to make sure that Angel doesn't know. I wish I had some kinda disguise.
