Chapter Twenty Two

I walked back to my room. I made my way over to the mirror in the corner of my room. I put my hand on the mirror looking at my reflection. I saw Val's face above my own. "I know what you're doing (s/n)..." I could hear Val's voice say. I whipped my head around but there was nobody in my room.

I looked back into the mirror and Val appeared again. "You have no power against me! Your little plan will not work against me..." Val's voice rang in my head.

I looked at the ground,"I know I'm crazy! I know I don't have enough power...yet!" I looked back up to see that I was no longer in my room. I wasn't anywhere in fact. Everything was pitch black, no walls, floors, and most of all no light. I was floating in the middle of a void. Valentino's magic started to flow around in the void. It almost seemed as though it was a peaceful place. But, that was too good to be true when Val's magic surged towards me. I was caught in his grasp. More and more magic surrounded my entire body until I was unable to see the darkness of the void. The magic strangled me, it was becoming hard to breathe.

"(Y/n)! (y/n)! (Y/N)!"

Val's voice faded but the magic stayed around me. I almost thought I could hear someone calling my name.

"(Y/N)! Wake up!"

Wake up? But, I'm not asleep, I thought to myself. I must be in some kind of trance, but how? "I'm in another reality! I don't know how to get out!" I cried, hoping the voice could hear me.

"(Y/n)?...I can hear you!" Angel called.

"I don't know how to break out of this!" I cried.

"Where are you?" Angel asked.

I steadied my voice,"I'm in some kind of void."

"Close your eyes and think about being back in your room," Angel suggested.

I looked around the void, there was nothing. Closing my eyes I imagined where I was in my room. "Take me back to the hotel," I whisper under my breath.
