Chapter Fourteen

Me and Angel decided to take a break from our training today. Which was honestly a good thing I needed some time away from Val.

With the extra time I had a chance to learn about my powers some more. While Angel and the others were asleep I snuck out again at midnight. I ran out of the Hotel and back to the field behind the cemetery to practice my powers.

I found out that I could use multiple powers at once and even combine them together. It took more strength than my other practices.

Today while I was at work I tried something and I'm shocked that nobody found out. When Valentino was upset at me for being late I absorbed some of his magic into my necklace. It's time to see if my plan worked. I let my palm face up and I focused on Val's pink smoke magic. As I focused the smoke flowed from my hand. I struggled to stand, it took so much out of me to even summon the magic I stole. Even so I could control it, this will be a key part of my plan.

I took a short break and laid down on the grass. This time I stayed awake. I created shapes and designs with my different kinds of magic. I have been enjoying learning about my powers each night recently. But, tonight I have so much more time to focus on learning more to do with my magic.

A while after doing magic I decided, I should go back to the Hotel, there's not much more to perfect tonight.

I made it back to the Hotel without being seen, but for real this time. I have had a hard week as (n/n) and (y/n). "Living a double life is hard!!!" I groaned. "But it will all be worth it eventually. So many ideas, so many plans.
