- POOL PARTY -

The backyard pulsed with energy as the sound of booming rap music reverberated through the air, drowning out all other noise.

Bodies moved in a symphony of motion, swaying and grinding to the rhythm. Couples twirled and spun, lost in the euphoria of the music, while groups of friends formed circles, their laughter mingling with the bass.

Amidst the sea of people, the pool shimmered invitingly, its surface rippling with each splash and dive.

Swimmers carved through the water, their laughter echoing against the night sky as they indulged in the cool respite from the summer heat.

Despite all that was going around him, all that was on Jungkook's mind was Jada.

"I thought you were done with Key?" Trey's frustration laced his words.

And ironically, despite all that was going on, all that was on Trey's mind was Keyana.

Jungkook brushed off Trey's concerns.

While anger consumed Jungkook at the thought of Daniel, he barely listened to Trey's words and he would push them to the background.

"I am done with Keyana," Jungkook replied absentmindedly, scanning the crowd for Keyana.

"Then why did you call her, messing with her head like that? Why play games with her feelings? She'll think you still like her—"

"Since when do you care about women's feelings? Hop off my dick." Jungkook retorted, his gaze settling on a light-skinned blonde dancing by the pool in a vibrant lime green bikini with a distressed denim mini skirt. Almost as if she had been waiting for him, her eyes locked onto Jungkook, and with an excited gleam, she abandoned her friends and hurried over to him.

"Maya said you were coming. I didn't actually believe her. You never go to parties." Keyana said eyeing her ex-boyfriend up and down.

"I had a couple of people I wanted to see." Jungkook shrugged and despite her tanned skin, she began to blush involuntarily, instantly assuming that she was the 'people'.

"I thought you said you were done with me." She said, a hint of sass in her voice as she pushed his shoulder. But as she pushed him playfully, he caught ahold of her hand, pulling her close to him.

Instantly a smile cracked on Keyana's face and she throws herself on top of him in an embrace and naturally he accepted the embrace, picking her up from her feet.
