Chapter 5 {Childhood remorse}

Romania, 5 May 2008.

It was Easter Eve, Danny's favorite day. She was walking down the street with her backpack on her back and a clear smile on her face. She was a different person as a child. The green in her eyes was vivid and her brown hair was like caramel almost. She was a person with pleasant and warm company. As she walks to her home, she didn't notice some black jeep's at her house.

Her parents were rich, but from "black market", Years passed, her father was heavily in debt, but was threatened by the mafia. Her father didn't care or believed, he always told her that it's okay and nobody will harm them or wipe their name.

But Danny didn't believed, she know how it works and it was the only thing she feared.

It was late anyway.

As she stepped in her yard, she breathed deep and sighs, looking around and didn't saw something strange, but she knows that something is off. As she walks to the door, she saw the door being closed and usually it wasn't.

— This doesn't feel good.

Danny whispers, thinking and looking back at the cars, raising her eyesbrows, her heart beating fast a bit and thinks the worst. Then, she walks inside, seeing that everything was normal, but it was silence there. She walks inside, looking careful and her pupils dilating slightly, breathing deep and putting her bagpack on the floor, walking to the kitchen, but soon as she enters the kitchen, she feels a hand over her mouth, preventing her from screaming.

She widens her eyes, breathing faster and her heart skipped a beat, shaking and looking around, trying to escape  but that human Was strong and she was scared for her life because she didn't know if she is going to die or live.

— Shut up kid and stay still!

A man spoke deep, breathing heavily behind her and holding her tight, carresing her skin with a knife to scare her more. He smirks, enjoying the feeling, the fear from her. Danny begun feel more scared, breathing heavily and her heart beating fast.

— This is just the beginning.

The Man whispers, breathing deep and holds her tight by the arm, making her to walk with him to another room, as her eyes widens more and her soul leaves her body at what she saw.

Her family.

— Dad! Mom! Brother...

Danny escape from the stranger hand, shouts desperate, noticing that they were kneeling down, her mind racing at the maximum. She didn't know what to do, looking at them, as she was hold more tight by the man. All of them were silent because of the mask they were covered with, making them silent and just looking scared. On the other hand, the mafia looked Satisfied and amused, smiling. As the Man holds Danny tight, he spoke deep.

— You know? I always hated my family and usually my dad. He was always a pain for me and the only thing that he know Was to beat me so I guess why I want now to just kill your dear father because I can't stand to see someone happy, y'know? All of this hapiness... It's make me angry..

The Man spoke cold and serious, turning and facing Danny, looking at her and tilts her head, looking in her eyes deep. Danny looked scared and her heart was beating fast, wanting to pray on her knees. She was lost in her mind. The Man slapped Danny, making her to fall on the floor, as he grab her hair and makes her to face her family, holding her by the head and her kneeling down, looking traumatized.

— Please... Don't... Don't do this...

Danny whispers, shaking and her tears being much on her cheeks, her heart beating fast and feeling tired.

— Nah, I do whatever I want.

With that said, he snap his Finger, the other member grabs by the neck her father and slams him against the wall, suddenly digs a knife in his neck, not allowing him to scream, blood was all over him and on the floor, Danny being terrified, because of the shock she stopped screaming or moving, being speechless. Danny cried over this, breathing heavily and shaking more, being holded there, looking at the scene with pure shock. She didn't know that guys are really doing this or if she has a nightmare.

Danny Was trying to escape, but she can't, suddenly her brother grits his teeth and punched one of the members, but this was bad luck, as he suddenly ended up shooted in the head, falls on the floor fast and his eyes being open, the blood Flow from his mouth, Danny screaming this time and looking at him, as she escape and takis his hand, looking at him and whispers desperate to him, crying and looking at the blood, being already traumatized.

— You know what's funny?! Watching this scene... I feel like I am in some movie, don't you think? I feel so fucking good to wipe that damn Name "Montgomery", you don't have any ideea what problems caused your dad!

He spoke amused, taking her by the Shirt and lifting her, looking in her eyes.

— I like to see the fear from Kids... You are just a child... A poor one... Now you are alone... Only you... What are you going to do, hm?

Danny looked at him, breathing heavily and having tears in her eyes, not understanding yet what really happened. She was already in pure shock.

The Man sighs deep and grunts, slamming her against the wall and he walks to her mother, taking her by the neck and spoke something to her, as he takes off the tape from her mouth and the Black material from her eyes, Danny seeing her mother's eyes, being red from the cry and breathing heavily also, looking at Danny. Then she spoke, knowing what's going next.

— Danny, listen here... When this end... Go away... Leave everything and forget and never say what happened and... Please... Never turn in someone that are like those guys... Even for revenge... Please Danny... Be who you want and you know that I love you my child... Never give up... Never....

— Mom... I am scared...

Danny spoke with tears, looking at her and cries, breathing faster and her heart beating heavily. Then the Man walks to her mother, taking an axe and stands, looking and sighs, smiling and looking at Danny, as he raised the axe and then approached her neck fast..
