Chapter 14 ~The Beach

— Hold my hand Danny! These waves are not easy with us!

North shout, smiling slightly and looking in her eyes deep, holding her hands tight and the water splashing against them. Danny chuckled, her blue hair being wet and her shirt too, as North holds her close to him.

It was a hot August summer, the sea being warm and open with its arms, the sand being warm under your feet and the sunset having a pinkish aura. Palm trees struggled in the wind, seagulls singing.

North laughs heartily, grabbing Danny by the waist and pushing her into the water, falling into the water and holding her breath, soon North appears in the water too, smiling a little, and still holds her in the water, knowing she is a professional swimmer, so he has no doubts.

Danny is surprised, looking at him and trying to surface for air, starting to think he wants to drown her, but soon, he grabs her by the neck and kisses her, giving her a breath of air, his lips warm just underwater, Danny being hot in the cheeks. North lets go, coming to the surface and breathing heavily, smirks and looks down, as he notice Danny being up too, looking a bit frustrated and having her cheeks red, being all wet from the water.

— What? Cat catch your tongue?

North spoke, chuckling and crossing his arms, looking down at her and raising an eyebrow, as Danny scoffs and wipes his feeth from the sand, making him to fall in the water again, gasping and being one with the water, being surprised at her move.

— You shouldn't do this again, I tought that you want to kill me.

Danny spoke, looking at him and smirks a bit, as North scoffs and cough, looking at her then.

— Why should I kill you?

— Just because we are still enemies, eh?

North laughs, stands slightly and looks at her, then at the sun.

— We are not now. Since I've kissed you, this mean that I am not longer your enemy and this just mean that you are mine.

North spoke confident, Winks at her and cross his arms, smiling, his dark hair being on his eyes and cheeks. Danny blushes more, shaking her head and sighs, smiling and stands too.

— You do have this habit on to call me yours and still, we don't know each other too well, y'know?

Danny mumbles, looking at him and raising an eyebrow, as he takes her hand.

— Just because I haven't told you about me, this doesn't mean that I don't know about you.

Danny widens her eyes, thinking and raising her eyebrows, her heart beating fast.

— Ohm.... You mean... You are a Stalker or? -

— Ah... No no.... I just know things... That no one know...

Danny breathed deep, looking at him and being tensed, her chest raising up and down, her hands trembling a bit. North notice, tilts his head and raised an eyebrow, smiling a bit and holds her hands then.

— Don't be concerned... I am the good one... I am not going to hurt you... Like I never did...

North smiled, looking at her and taking her in his arms, hugs her tight and close his eyes, feeling her scent and sighs, as Danny sighs deep, smiling.

As soon the hours passed, it was a hard time.

It was time for North to go, and so was Danny. During that time, North retired from his work as a soldier at NATO, knowing Danny was retiring for other plans, which she didn't know he already knew.

They didn't know if they would see each other again, but they both hoped so, because they had a connection

Danny sighs, sitting on the Sand, As North was looking at the sky. Danny smiles, taking her phone and looked at North, as he nods in the mean to take a photo, smiling and slightly holds her waist, as Danny begun to take the picture, he slightly kissed her on the cheek, smiling and chuckled, being happy at that moment, as soon He will not.

And hours passed, Both saying goodbye, Danny feeling a pain in her chest and an annoyance, North seeing and sighing, putting his chain in her hand as a memory and kissing her once more, then leaving with his car.

Danny sighs, closing her eyes and feeling the cold silver, breathing deep and hoping to see him again.
