You hated the outdoors. You were more of a greenhouse and garden person. Tending to Flowers and tomatoes. The jungle and animal thing wasn't your strong suit. Yet here you were sent by your boss to tend to some rich people's garden for a week. He'd said something about them being military or government officials but you kinda zoned out after the words vacation came out. So here you are in a big ass garden all alone.

"The garden is the only way I can connect with nature right now." A voice came becoming closer at every moment.

You quickly hid as you thought this was a solo job. A ginger looking leprechaun came into view. I take that back she was ginger but her arms were toned and showcased a few scars. Her eyes the same green as the grass. The good grass too.

"Yes Sage I am still your hiking buddy. Hmm? A gardener? I don't see anyone." She said looking around

You were fake sleeping under a tree hidden deeper in the garden.

"Bloody hell the gardens never looked this good before! Just wait till you come back!" She laughed.

A smile crept up your face as you were proud that someone recognized your work. Her laugh was warm too. The footsteps stopped and you went back to faking.

"Sage lemme call you back." Then it went quiet

You felt a hand on your face poking softly. "Hey handsome, wake up."

You didn't move. Only dragging your breath longer. "Your head is on an ant pile."

You still didn't budge. She was gonna have to stab you or something. You don't remember an ant pile being there but your head suddenly got itchy. Fuck

"Bloody hell." She sighed. She walked away and you didn't open your eyes until you thought the coast was clear.

For some odd reason her eyes were staring down at you. "Shit!" A real jump scare.

"I knew you were faking! Sorry about the scare." She smiled extending her hand. Her accent was beautiful and smooth as gold while it crawled down your throat like a spider.

"Thank you." You looked for the ant pile immediately.

"There's no ant pile." She laughed again. "Sorry, I'm Skye, I'm guessing your the gardener." She extended her hand again.

"Y/n, it's a pleasure to meet you." You shook her hand politely.

"I know this was short but I have to leave soon, I just wanted to check up on you and the garden." She smiled. " I'll see you around." She waved. And just like that she was gone.

Until she wasn't and you got to know her as she stopped by every now and then.

You were laying under the very tree you two had met upon taking a break from your duties.

"Hey beautiful." She whispered into your ear.

Your shoulders tensed as the words beautiful climbed inside your ears. "You gotta stop doing that." You opened your eyes to see her laying next to you smiling like a wolf. You slowly sat up smiling back at her.

"I'm bored." She said yawning "There's no new missions either."

"How am I supposed to help?" I glanced at her, picking at the weeds that had grown in the area.

"We could play hide and seek. I'll give you a reward if you win, and it'll only be in the garden." She teased.

"Isn't that too easy for me? I spend so much time out here." I asked concerned.

"You underestimate me. Cmon lets play." She laughed.

"Fine" You said dusting yourself off. You turned around and started counting to 60. You heard her laughing as she ran away. You skipped a couple of numbers because why not and shouted "60!"

You slowly walked into the garden taking in the sights. It really looked good ten times better than when you got here. Flowers everywhere, the trees looked good too. You looked around for awhile but there was no sign of Skye.

You entered another small part of the garden reserved for Sage only. A small waterfall ran down a few rocks and created a meditating circle. No sign of her there either.

You made your way to the middle of the garden to see Skye sitting on the fountain with her dog in her lap.

"Found you." You said smiling.

"Took you long enough." She said smirking.

"Where's my prize?" You asked getting closer.

"Come get it." She said. There was a sparkle in her eye and it wasn't glitter.

You cautiously moved forward, until you were right in front of her. You looked around confused as your prize was nowhere to be found.

"You have to say I claim my prize."

Rolling your eyes you repeated the statement. "I claim my prize. Skye this is so stupid a-

Her lips were on yours in a second. Her hand taking through your hair and pulling you closer. You moved your hands to her face cupping her cheeks.

She giggled pulling away from your face. This time grabbing your waist and pulling your weight into her. You went in for another kiss but found the water fountain instead.

"You'll have to play another game for that." She laughed with loving eyes.

She is soo annoying you said lovingly.
