Draco's POV
The next day I sit down in potions class and I listen closely to professor Snape. His long black greasy hair smacking his shoulders as he walks, it's disgusting. I hate this class with a passion. It's unbelievably painful just sitting here. I annoying look out the window for a few minutes until I hear the door open to the potions room. I shift my attention over to the door to see Hermione walking it. She was late to class. HERMIONE was late. That geeky nerd!"You're late Ms. Granger. have a seat." Snape side eyes her as he turns back to the board and writes on it. She sits down at a desk in front, a few rows to the left. All I could see was her back. She then turns around and makes eye contact with me. It freaked me out. Why does this mudblood keep giving me looks. Annoyed, I shift my attention elsewhere, to professor Snape that is. I then feel myself slowly shifting my focus back to Hermione who's got her book open and reading whatever text is prompted on the page. Her curly brown hair laid wildly against her back. Her hair was pretty today. Her silhouette looked nice. I catch myself looking at her and I shake my head and turn back to the lesson. Class was finally over and I quickly gather my things and leave immediately.
Hermione's POV
I wake up but not to the sound of my alarm. I stretch and thought that I just woke up early. I roll over and check the time to see that I was late for class. Extremely late. I've never been late before! ME! I freak out and jump out of bed. I get ready fast and I brush my hair aggressively. I grab my books and book it out the door. once I reach the classroom door, I take a deep breath and I open it slowly. Snape looks at me clearly disappointed. He tells me i'm late as if I don't already know so. I take a seat at an empty desk in the front row. I could have sworn I just saw Draco in this class. So I turn around to see Draco already looking at me from behind a few rows to the back, over by the windows to my left. His eyes seemed like a lighter and calmer blue today, a pretty blue. I couldn't look away, but then, I felt a weird twist in my stomach that forced me to quickly turn back around. Why was he looking at me? what did he want? Was he picturing his next "stand up comedy" about how I'm a mudblood again? Whatever it was I wanted nothing to do with it. He finally left my mind as I continued to listen to Professor Snape teach his lesson. Sooner or later class was over and I noticed Draco rush out of the class. I've never seen him run other than the times he was screaming and running from small animals. I casual walk out of class like a normal person. He's a strange boy. Nasty, but strange.
