"Sooo , what happened between you and Kevin? You were telling me through text but didn't finish." Kiana said through the phone. It was a Friday evening and you had just gotten home from a long shift at work. You two were on facetime while you were currently laying down in bed while your bestfriend Kianna was driving from work with you on speaker.
"Girl so basically we got into an argument and he hung up on me." You whined. "Why? What was yall arguing about?" Kianna said. "Because we were talking about Amor's dad coming into town to come and see her for the first time. I was telling him I was a bit anxious of seeing him after all these years. And he was like why, you still got feelings for him or some shit? I said no, It's just triggering to see him because our relationship was so toxic. So he goes, what happened. I said dont feeling talking about it. He got mad and said I never open up to him blah blah blah and he hung up on me "You pouted.
"Oh shit , he's mad rude for hanging up. But I get him though , cause Y/n isn't this like the fourth or fifth time he's asked you about your past relationship with Lenny and you be avoiding it.I mean he does eventually have to meet him since he's around your daughter. You know he loves you and maybe he just wants you to open up and be vulnerable to his ass. I mean he told you everything about him and his bitchass ex. How he be dubbing her ass for you til this very day. Have you talked to him since then?"
"Not really. He sent me some memes that night tryna to get me to respond or ease the tension but I ignored his ass , he sent some earlier this morning too but I aint open the message." "Look, I think y'all should just talk it out in my opinion, it's hard man , I know, I get it, but trust me and you both know I went through the same thing with my nigga. So yall will be good but Y/n open up to him. He just wants you to be comfortable around him so just tell him and don't be stubborn and hardheaded like how you usually are." She said jokingly
"Girl fuck you." You both laughed. "But yea, you right he is a good dude,I love him, Amor loves him. She kinda looks at him like a stepfather. It's just hard but hey, but Ima hit you later cause Amor has a sleepover at the little girl's house upstair this weekend and Im tryna take a quick nap before she comes home." You said while snuggling under the covers. "Alright let me know how it goes.""Okay bye." The call ends. You check your phone and put it on DND , before your eyes get heavy and you fall asleep.
1 hour later....
You wake up out of your sleep to 2 missed calls and one text message that was sent 15 min ago from Kevin.
