Buck and you have been roommates for awhile.

You admit that Buck is attractive but nothing was going on between the pair of you.

It was routine that you'd wake up before Buck left for work. It wasn't really on purpose rather you were just an early bird.

Today was like any other. "Morning Buck.", you say walking into the kitchen still in your pyjamas.

"Hey Y/n/n.", he greets you placing his empty coffee mug into the sink.

You go over to the coffee pot and make your own.

Buck was already dressed in his uniform ready to leave soon.

"You working today?", he asks watching you pour your hot coffee.

"No.", you reply putting down the pot.

He leans against the counter with his arms crossed over his chest. "Nice pyjamas.", he grins.

You look back at him and shake your head. "These are my favourites thank you very much."

He chuckles. "Are you gonna be home for dinner?", you ask. Buck and yourself took turns at cooking or ordering take away when he wasn't having dinner at the station.

"I'm not sure yet.", he replies.

You walk past him to the fridge, "Okay, just text me.", you smile.

"I should get going. See you later.", Buck says picking up his backpack and walking towards the door.

You notice he's left his phone sitting on the bench. "Wait Buck!", you yell jogging towards the door he's half out.

"What's up?", he asks. You have the phone hidden behind your back.

"Have you forgotten anything?", you ask him smugly.

Buck walks over to you and plants a big kiss on your cheek. You turn red and hold the phone up.

"I meant this, but thanks.", you grin. He laughs and takes the phone.

"What would I do without you? Bye Y/n.", he waves goodbye and closes the door.

You laugh and make your way back to the kitchen to start on your breakfast. A little swing in your step as you do so.
