Tallulah and Percy were back in the lobby of the Empire State Building. "I have a crazy ass story to tell you, but I'll wait until we get back to camp." Tallulah told him, honestly glad for the excuse to have more time to process it herself.

"Is it about what happened with your mom?" Percy asked her cautiously. Tallulah nodded. She must not have seemed upset because Percy seemed fine with her answer.

Percy and Tallulah both needed a taxi, but Percy made sure she got one first. "I don't want you to be waiting on the street alone." Percy told her. She smiled and said teasingly, "You are such a gentleman Jacks, thank you."

They stood on the street. Percy's anxiety and fear wrapped around them like a blanket. Tallulah grabbed his and looked at him. "If you need anything at all, please let me know. Remember, you are so much better than whatever that man tells you that you are."

Tallulah then got in her taxi and waved to Percy. She told the driver the address and he looked at her weird. The guy was probably thinking 'why does this kid want to go to a strawberry field', but he didn't ask questions.

When Tallulah got to camp, she walked through the field, loving the buzz of life it produced. She walked down the hill and went straight to her cabin.

When she got there it was quiet. Her sisters were sitting on Daisy's bed talking in hushed tones. Anxiety riddled their bodies as they sat stiffly.

Tallulah walked in as quietly as she could, before creeping up to the bed. Her sisters were so deep in the conversation they didn't notice her. She got close and yelled, "Guess who's back!"

Daisy and Katie shrieked in fear, then paused, and shrieked in excitement. They tackled Tallulah in a hug, knocking her to the floor. They laid there laughing, just soaking up each other's presence.

"I'm so glad you're back Lulu! We were worried sick the whole time you were gone!" Daisy told her. Tallulah ruffled her hair. "I have so much to tell you guys."

And so the three daughters of Demeter sat on the rug of their cabin, listening to Tallulah's story. There were a few interruptions like, 'You have such bad luck you met Medusa?' and 'Aww Percy sacrificed himself for you not once, but twice!' Katie had a field day with that part.

Tallulah hesitated before she told them about Olympus, but told them anyway because they are her sisters. If she can't tell them she can't tell anyone.

"I saw mom." Tallulah told them. The two girls stayed quiet. Tallulah explained their conversation. "That's really cool." Katie said when she was done talking. "Can we help you figure out your powers?" Daisy asked her.

"Of course! I have some theories, especially about reading emotions. I wonder if I practice enough I would be able to sense where the person is or if I could know who is feeling what without seeing them." Tallulah rambled on.

She was interrupted when Grover and Annabeth burst through the door and said, "Percy's back!" Just as quickly as they entered the cabin they left. Tallulah scrambled off the floor and said, "I'll see you guys in a bit!"

Tallulah caught up to Grover and Annabeth. They raced toward half -blood hill. There stood Percy, looking in the crowd. When he saw his questmates he broke into a huge grin.
