The next few days went by slowly. Tallulah's sisters arrived at camp the next day, shocked by what Tallulah had told them about the events of yesterday. Her nine year old sister Daisy's eyes widened to a comical size when Tallulah told her how Percy now had a new brother.

Finnegan had also arrived at camp, and so Tallulah also informed him of the day's wild adventure.

The two caught up, and Tallulah wanted to tell Finn about her training, she really did, but she hadn't told any yet. The girl didnt know why she hadn't brought it up with anyone yet.

It felt like a wound that was just starting to scab over, and if she were to talk about it, the wound would gush blood and she would never be able to heal.

The sun was starting to set as Tallulah sat on the steps of her cabin, with a book in her hand. She was so into her novel she didn't notice Percy walking across the courtyard.

The boy sat down on the step next to Tallulah, which caused the girl to flinch in surprise. "Jacks, what are you doing here? You ok?" Tallulah asked the boy.

Percy just stared straight ahead and shook his head. "Ok then. You're coming with me." Tallulah said as she grabbed him arm and dragged him to the beach, wishing to not disturb her sisters.

Percy was silent as Tallulah dragged him to the soft sand. The sun was blending with the water when they got there.

The two sat across from each other on the sand. It was silent for a while before Percy said, "I can't help feeling embarrassed. Ashamed."

Tallulah watched as he continued and said, "My father, the all-powerful Poseidon, had gotten moony-eyed for some nature spirit, and Tyson had been the result."

Tallulah closed her eyes as the boy talked. His frustration rose by each word he spoke. "I admit-I am angry at my dad. I feel like being his son was now a joke."

It was silent once more before Tallulah broke it and said, "Do you feel better now?" The boy nodded. "Good."

They sat in silence, this one a little more awkward than the rest. "Are you doing the chariot racing?" Tallulah asked. Percy nodded. "I'm partnered with Annabeth since she has a lot of siblings and I don't."

Tallulah felt like she was just punched in the gut, and she didn't know why.

A couple days later Tallulah and Katie had just finished their chariot. It was gold with vines decorating the sides. Two brown horses, don't ask Tallulah where they came from, were going to pull the chariot.

Out of pure boredom Tallulah decided to see how Percy and Annabeth were doing on their chariot. As she was walking over some jokers from Aphrodite's cabin walked by and asked Percy if he needed to borrow some eyeliner for his eye..."Oh sorry, eyes."

Tallulah didn't doubt that he would look fantastic with eyeliner but it was a cheap blow.

The girl walked but next to the two and said, "Hey!" She was ignored and Annabeth grumbled, "Just ignore them, Percy. It isn't your fault you have a monster for a brother."
