"Pretty cool, huh?" Ace said as he looked over to the three, his smile turning to a mischievous smirk. "Not like some piddling weasel."
"Myah?!" Everyone snapped their heads towards the ginger, who was now clutching his stomach as he erupted in laughter.
"Pfft... Ah ha ha! I can't hold it back anymore! Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Come on, you're the ones who turned orientation into such a fiasco, right? The one summoned by the Dark Mirror who can't even use magic, the huge creature that made the Dark Mirror disappear, and the monster no on summoned at all. It took everything I had not to burst into laughter right in the middle of the ceremony!" Ace exclaimed between laughs, ignoring the annoyed looks of the three.
"H-hey! You don't gotta be a jerk about it!" Grim shouted in response as he crossed his arms, his ears lowered against his head a little. Yuuken frowned slightly at Ace's sudden change in behavior and (Y/N) just tilts their head slightly, though deep down in their form, their eyes narrowed slightly.
"So in the end, none of you got admitted, and now you're janitors? Ah ha ha! SO lame!"
This seemed to just fuel Grim's frustration more. "What did you just call me?!" He questioned as his paw clenched into a fist. He knew that he should be keeping his temper in check, but this guy just kept getting on his nerves.
"Uh-oh. This isn't gonna end well," Yuuken muttered as he backed away slightly, trying to pull (Y/N) back with him, but they just stayed rooted in place.
"Anyway, just thought I'd tease you a bit. And man am I glad I did. It's been a blast! Unlike you, I actually have classes to get to, so I'll let you get back to picking up trash. Bye!" With that, Ace began to walk away, a cocky smirk on his face and a casual rhythm in his step.
"Myuh-uh! You ain't walkin' away from me! It's too late for that!" Grim shouted and before anyone could react, he fired off a ball of fire in Ace's direction. "Myaaaaah!"
"Woah!" Luckily, Ace managed to dodge the fire in time and moved out of the way before the ball of flames could hit him. He turned around as his smirk changed to a surprised expression, then to one of anger. Yuuken and (Y/N) looked over at the small monster in surprise, Yuuken feeling like something bad was gonna happen.
"No one makes fun of Grim, Master of Fire! I'm gonna make that explodey-head of yours explode all over again!" Grim claimed as he fired off another ball of flames.
"Explodey-head?! You wanna throw down with me, shorty? You got some guts. You wanna talk hair, huh? I'm gonna shave you like a toy poodle!" Ace said as he took out a black fountain pen with a bright Rose-red crystal attached to it. His smirk came back to his face, but there was now a challenging look in his eyes.
"Myaaaaah!" Grim fired off another flame, but with a swish of his pen, Ace summoned a gust of wind to move the fire away from him.
