After a day full of learning and listening to teachers -with (Y/N) being held in high regard with all their teachers- the freshmen group found themselves behind the campus where a large forest resided, much warmer in atmosphere than the ones around the dwarfs mines. Yuuken led (Y/N) along by their arm since they continuously got distracted by everything around them. They constantly tried to walk off when they spotted something they found interesting, such as an apple hanging on a tree or a small mushroom on the ground. After a small bit of walking, the group soon found themselves in front of a thicket of trees with green spiky things attached to them. It seemed to (Y/N) that these were what they needed, seeing the group light up at the sight of these spiky things.
"Whoa! There really are a ton of chestnuts just layin' around. I'm gonna be livin' large on chestnut tarts!" Grim exclaimed as he stood up on (Y/N)'s head, reaching up to grab one of the chestnuts, but quickly pulled back in pain. "Let's get grabbin'- YOWCH! Myah! The chestnut spines pricked my paws!" Hearing Grim cry out in pain, (Y/N) quickly moved him away from the trees and examined his paws for any serious damage, giving an assuring squeeze when they saw that he was fine.
"I don't think we can do this with our bare hands," Deuce said as he watched (Y/N) care for the little monster like a parent caring for their child, thinking for a moment. "And we need something to put them in, too."
"Maybe we can find some supplies in the botanical garden?" Ace suggested as he pointed over to the large domed building seemingly made of glass. (Y/N) looked at the building and tilted their head slightly. It reminded them of the City of Tears and brought a sense of nostalgia to them.
"Let's take a look," Deuce said before the group went over to the building to find something to help their task.
