(Y/N) had been sitting patiently when they heard a commotion getting closer to their position. Looking over to the entrance, they were met with Grim bursting through the doors, followed by Ace, Yuuken, and another person they didn't know, but recognize from the orientation ceremony. They stood up as they watched Grim jump this way and that, dodging spells that the two students were firing. They turned their head to Yuuken, silently wondering what was happening, but quickly turned their head back at the chaos.
"Argh! Stop jumping around like that!" Ace shouted as Grim jumped up onto the huge chandelier.
"Heh heh he! Catch me if you can!" Grim taunted as he jumped between branches, a smug smile on his face.
"No fair climbing up onto the chandelier, you coward!" The new person cried as he looked up at the monster, his fist clenching around his magic pen. He then sighed as he thought about what to do now. "I haven't really learned flight magic yet.. What could I summon to hold onto him...? Hmmm..." He then looked over at Ace and got an idea. "Oh! That's it!" Yuuken frowned as he backed away from the group, getting closer to (Y/N). He knew that no matter what happened, it wasn't gonna end well for all of them.
"Did you come up with somethi- Oh, hey! Stop! What are you doing?! Why are you pointing your pen at me?!" Ace questioned with wide eyes as he noticed Deuce pointing his magic pen in his direction, a determined look in his bright cyan eyes.
"Because I'm going to launch you," Deuce said in a matter-of-fact tone, as if it was obvious. (Y/N) slowly backed away, Yuuken following suit. Considering the size of the chandelier, both of them could imagine the damage following behind.
"Now way does this end well," Yuuken muttered as he looked at (Y/N) who nodded in agreement.
"Are you kidding me?!" Ace shouted and yelped when he felt himself being magically lifted into the air. "Bwaaah! Put me down! Seriously, do not launch me! Abort! ABORT!"
Unfortunately, Deuce didn't listen to his cries as he put his focus into getting perfect precision towards the oblivious monster, who was busy cheering to pay attention at what was happening.
"Just make sure to grab him tight. I've got him in my sights, and... Go!" With a mighty heave, Deuce launched a panicking Ace to the chandelier, heading straight towards Grim. The little monster turned around at the sound of shouting and his eyes widened when he saw the ginger heading in his direction. While Grim's small form allowed him to jump onto the chandelier without it falling, Ace didn't have the same advantage. As soon as he landed on one of the branches, the chandelier wasn't able to hold the wait and soon fell onto the ground with a giant crash. Deuce covered his face with his arms to protect himself, but opened his eyes in shock when he felt someone pull him over. Seeing the danger, (Y/N) grabbed Yuuken and Deuce before holding them close and shielded them from the crash with their body and cloak. They could feel the debris hitting their back, but it wasn't all that painful for the vessel. Once the crash subsided and the danger passed, (Y/N) let go of the two before turning around to see the damage, Yuuken and Deuce nervously taking a peek past them to also see. Everyone's eyes widened when they saw that the once majestic chandelier was now a pile of broken pieces on the ground, broken branches littered every which way. Grim and Ace were laid on the ground, dizzy and in shock from the fall.
