I wake up the day following our win against Germany, I slowly got out of bed. I did my usual morning routine, I got dressed I wore a basic Team Canada hoodie, and a pair of light blue jeans, with whatever pair of sneakers I could find. After I finished getting ready I heard a knock coming from the door I opened it to see the handsome face of Jase Anderson.

"Morning Jase." I greeted as I walked out of my room, Jase looked a lot more happier then he usually did.

"Well good morning to you Alessandra, would you like to get breakfast with me?" Jase has asked, but something was off he was happy, a bit too happy then normal, something was definitely going on.

"Sure, I would love some food." I appreciated his kind offer, I walked out closing the door behind me, we had gotten down the hall half way before I started questioning his super happy mood.

"Cut the chase, why are you so happy this morning?" I questioned the blonde haired boy, he had a small giggle of joy, I couldn't help but smile from the blonde boy's happy-go-lucky mood.

"I'm going to the NHL. As soon as I'm 18 I'll be ready for the draft." Jase cheered, the NHL? That's some serious hockey, like BIG hockey. I was proud of him, I couldn't wait for the day I would be watching him do his dream.

"Congratulations! I'm so proud of you." I cheered as I pulled him into a tight hug, I was proud of him really. It had got me thinking, what will I do after hockey? There is no women's league, what can I do after hockey? I had all these questions coming to the front of my mind, I had never really thought about. I knew I couldn't make a career out of hockey, I always thought I would think of something when the time comes.

"I couldn't believe it when they told me." He said still in shock from the whole experience.

"I'd imagine!" I laughed, I couldn't have been more happier for Jase. I only hope for the best for him, it was shocking thinking that, I used to hate Jase like an enemy in a book. We had finally made it to the small cafeteria in the apartments we were staying in.

"So princess what would you like?" The blonde boy asked to which I rolled my eyes in response. Just when I thought he finally stopped with that stupid pet name he gave me I was so wrong, but I wasn't complaining.

"Just a medium iced latte please." I gave him what I would like, Jase nodded his head in response. I went to go find a table whilst he was in line, I found a small table with two chairs on either side of the table.

"Here you go." Jase gave me my latte after a few minutes of waiting, he sat down across from me.

"Thank you." I thanked him, Jase hod gotten himself a bagel from the little food shop.

"So the finals are coming up." Jase said trying to make small talk, he was cute when trying to make small talk when it was awkward. He would always wrinkle his nose when trying to do so.

"Yep, I'm super nervous, you?" I asked him, I may feel better if I felt that somebody else was as nervous as I was.

"If I'm being honest, yeah we're going up against America another good team here." Jase looked really stressed about the whole topic, I couldn't blame him, America has some pretty good players.

"I hope we stand a chance against them." I nervously spoke, America was good really good. I can't keep getting into my head like this I thought to myself.

I couldn't stop staring at Alessandra. She was my walking love letter and yet she didn't even realize it. She lights up every room she walks in, shifting the atmosphere, carrying inspiration everywhere she goes just her being herself was a precious gift of its own.

"We should get going." I spoke breaking the silence, Alessandra nodded her head. We left the cafeteria, and started walking around wherever.

"Hey Alessandra." I heard the voice of Michael Gone, I turned around to see the boy who has been like my big brother for years

"Hey Michael." I smiled as I pulled him into a hug. He seemed like he had something on his mind that was bothering him.

"Anything bothering you Michael?" I asked, Michael was debating on tell me and Jase or not.

"It's the game, if we win we win the whole thing, and if we lose well second place, and America is good like really good." Michael started ranting, I had never seen him this nervous about something especially a game.

"Michael I'm sure you and everyone else will do great, we still have a good chance of winning." I reinsured Michael and Jase for that matter.

After hanging out with Michael and Jase for a few hours I left to do something important. I walked down to the skating rink, I put on my skates, my gloves, my helmet and grabbed my stick. I glided out onto the ice, it was just me out there, it all felt so natural and peaceful. I took a puck that fell perfectly straight into the tape of my stick.

"Finally." I whispered to myself even though no one was around, I smiled to myself as I skated with the puck tucked into the tape of my stick. I imagined myself on TV doing what I was doing right now, I was known for my fast stick handling skills, I shot at the net top shelf just like how my brothers taught me. I practiced for about another hour or so before I left it was 10:00 PM when I left, in a few days the finals game would start and I was determined to win.

Sorry for the late update have not been having a lot of motivation or ideas lately.
