I find words to be the most interesting thing to ever exist.
Isn't it fascinating how words spoken or written have so much power?
Words have the power to build, to speak life into your soul.
I heard a story once about how the world was created from nothing,
how the land was formed and the oceans and every land creature came to be.
All because of words spoken. I heard another story about a man who raised another from the dead, how amazing it is to possess the power to command life itself.
Think of all the books you've read, how they influenced you, how they made you feel,
how they changed you.
Think of the very first friend you ever made; someone had to say something, a simple 'hi, my name is...' turned into a lifetime of friendship, connections, or lasting memories.
Ever wonder how wars start? How all of a sudden nations are constantly at each other's throats?
Imagine being a leader of a nation and commanding armies to attack other nations; you must have been pretty convincing to command so many people, to bend them to your will.
Words also cut deep; they hurt feelings and break apart homes, they ruin friendships, they can be turned into lies.
When used for evil, they can very well topple a nation.
Words are a gift but can also be a curse we create ourselves.
So beware of what comes out of your mouth...
