The team was very confused when they saw that the lift had not changed them into their regular uniform. Tom and Alex were wearing an old fashion suit, Aneisha was wearing a short silver glittery dress and Zoe wore a jumpsuit with very old spy gadgets attached to the belt on her hips.

"How lovely!" The team looked up and became even more confused when they saw Dan standing next to the cleaning lady.

"All together again and ready for action."

"Guys, Jemima Thursday. She's amazing. She's turning things back so we can keep our jobs. We can stay together." Dan said slightly fangirling as he was standing next to his hero. Aneisha and Alex exchanged looks; Dan must not realise that she is changing everyone's technology back.

"Dan, don't you realise what she's doing?" Aneisha continues.

"The molecular accelerator isn't just rewinding MI9's technology. It's affecting everything. Imagine a world where medical advances are reversed, and people get ill when they don't have to." Aneisha said explaining the situation to Dan and making some very valid points.

"Or all TVs are black and white?" Tom said like it was the worst thing in the world, but Alex had one better.

"Or worse the Zoetrope" That was the worst thing that Alex could think of.

"Guys, that's not quite as bad as mine, is it?" Aneisha said while looking at them in disbelief.

"OK. Fair point. Or real people are kept in cages." Tom then gestures to Sebastian who was in a small cage.

"She's breaching my human rights." Sebastian said from the corner of the room.

"Daniel, I'm giving you a purpose." Jemima said to Dan, trying to make sure that he does not swap sides.

"You have one now, Dan, with us." Aneisha told Dan helping him see sense.

"Our purpose is to save the world."

"Even if it means we can't save our jobs"

"Oh, really! Noble ideals are all very well, but they don't catch criminals." Jemima said but Alex could tell that they were winning Dan over.

"You know what?" Dan walks over to his team "They're right. Shut down the accelerator." He told Jemima.

"No. Daniel! You can't. Activate defences." Jemima said once she saw that the team had begun to make their way to the accelerator.

All of a sudden, the lift doors opened and there was a giant fan in the wall that was sucking everything towards it.

"The molecular accelerator has even affected the security systems. It must have reinstated the old defences from years ago." Tom shouted over the noise. Papers were flying everywhere and getting eaten by the machine. The team just focused on trying not to be sucked in. The team snapped their head over to Jemima as they heard her scream and saw that she was getting sucked into the machine.

"I am wearing magnetic boots. Hold on to me." Zoe shouted over the noise, and everyone held onto each other. Alex held on to Aneisha who was holding on to Zoe, Tom was holding onto Alex, and he was holding onto Dan.

"I have got to help save Jemima." Dan shouted.

"Dan, no!" Dan let go of Toms hand and he quickly grabbed onto Dans foot as Dan tried his best to reach Jemima.

"Take my hand."

"No!" A chair then flew towards them causing everyone to panic and duck. It was getting extremely dangerous very quickly.

"Jemima, come on. You have to take my hand. Come on!" Jemima listened and grabbed onto his hand.

"Oi! My desk" Alex shouted as she watched one of her desks get sucked into the fan.

"Dan!"

"Help us. How do we stop it?" Dan shouted at the woman as he felt his grip on her hand starting to slip.

"No Daniel. We need it to stay in the game."

"Living in the past won't help us. Being a spy is far more than about gadgets and technology. It's a state of mind. I thought you knew that. I thought you were the best." After hearing Dans short speech Jemima finally gave up and told the team how to stop the madness.

"If you disable the molecular accelerator, the defences will return to normal. Tell your girlfriend to use the fusion ray." Jemima shouted to Dan.

"She's NOT my girlfriend! What's the fusion ray?"

"The hairdryer." Jemima shouted as if it was obvious. Dan turned his head to look a Zoe and shouted.

"Zoe, the hairdryer is a fusion ray. Use the hairdryer!" Zoe lets go of the pillar she was holding on to and put all her trust into her boots. She took the hairdryer out from her belt and activated it. She pointed it at the molecular accelerator and the team watched as it was instantly destroyed.

"There." Zoe shouted. The team noticed that the fan had started to slow down, and the lift door came to a close. The wind stopped and the team all sighed in relief and let go of each other. Zoe (with the help of Alex) turned off her magnet boots so that they wouldn't be stuck to the floor, and she would be able to move around freely. Dan stood himself up and helped Jemima.

Once the team had gotten their bearings, they all turned to Jemima.

"Jemima..." Dan said hoping for an explanation.

"I'm sorry. All this reminds me of when I was a spy. A good one." Jemima said very emotionally. She never meant to be the bad guy.

"You are. The best." Dan reassured her. "You're the reason I want to be a spy."

"And you are the reason we're still spies. Although what you did today was wrong" Aneisha started to say. "If it wasn't for you, we'd be finished."

"Yeah you totally saved our butts there" Alex added on. Jemima seemed very happy with the response she was getting. But unfortunately, they still had to arrest her as she did still technically commit a crime. Jemima went peacefully up the lift with the rest of the team and met Frank outside the broom cupboard and handed Jemima over.

However, they did accidentally forget about Sebastian still being in the cage, so they had to go back down to release him.

The team made their way over to the courtyard as it was time for them to go home.

"The molecular accelerator's circuits have blown. Sebastian doesn't think he can repair it. In fact, he says he's not even going to try. So, we're back in the game." Tom informed the team.

"She's still a hero, no matter what she's done." Dan said while looking down at his poster of Jemima.

"And at least all the technology has gone back to normal." The team saw Mr Flatly walking over to them and quickly stopped what they were talking about.

"Hello. I wondered if you'd like some more work experience. Ever since that silly Prime Minister mix-up there seems to be an awful lot of governmental rubbish lying about the place." Mr Flatly told them whilst holding a black bin bag towards them.

"Sorry, sir, we've decided on a different career path." Dan told Mr Flatly, giving him a believable excuse. Although Mr Flatly didn't look to disappointed.

"Well, not to worry. I'll have Mr McNab do it." Mr Flatly held out the bag to Mr McNab who just so happened to walk past.

"Oh, no, Mr Flatley, I don't think that's appropriate for a deputy headmaster."

"McNab!" Everyone heard the voice of the General shout. "Refusing to obey orders? You still owe me infinity."

"Oh, Mammy, Daddy..." Mr McNab said and quickly walked away.

The team just laughed at the fact he was finally getting a taste of his own medicine.
