CHAPTER NINE: NAME SAKE

     BEING late was not something normal for Molly. In fact, she hated being late but there were times when she just couldn't help it. For instance, right now. She was supposed to be at the dojo fifteen minutes ago for her and Miguel's lesson on punching but she had gotten sidetracked with hanging out with Eli.

When the pair had gotten back to his house after school, they immediately got onto their laptops and began playing Minecraft together in the world they had created together. The two had lost track of time when they began building a new doghouse for all of the dogs that Molly tamed. Collecting a large number of dogs was one of the girl's favorite parts of the game, especially knowing that Eli would help her build them their own house.

She didn't realize that she was going to be late until ten minutes after she needed to leave. Molly rushed to change while Eli got her things together for her. She didn't even take the time to turn on music from her phone when she got in the car, instead just turning on the radio for some background noise as she sped down the streets of the valley.

When she got to the Cobra Kai dojo, Molly left her bags in the car as she rushed into the building. She sighed in relief that it didn't look like her father was mad since he was taking a phone call.

"What'd he do this time?" Johnny said with a sigh as he stared at the ground.

Whoever he was on the phone with answered his question, causing his face to scrunch up in confusion.
