     IT was official. Molly hated every single person who was friends with Yasmine and Kyler. The two always treated her friends like shit and she was tired of it.

Yasmine had taken a photo of Eli at lunch that day and put the words "shit lip" over it as well as drawing an arrow that pointed to the boy's scar. She had only posted it on her close friend's story but Kyler had taken a screenshot of it and posted it just before fifth period, tagging Eli to be sure that he saw it. He knew that people would see and talk about it before school got out, which made it worse for Eli. The only saving grace for the boy was that it was Friday and it gave two days for everyone to forget about hopefully.

Molly hated them.

They were sitting at the kitchen table at the Moskowitz's house, Eli crying as he stared down at the table. His mom stood a few feet away as she spoke with the guidance counselor from the school. Molly sat next to him, reaching out to grab his hand with her own. She hated seeing him this way and wished for nothing more than for a change. She wanted all the kids at school to stop teasing him for something beyond his control. It wasn't fair that he had to experience this.

"No, you don't understand. My son is getting bullied every day," Mrs. Moskowitz spoke as she moved the cookies she had baked for the two teens onto a plate. "Yeah, they call him names. 'Freak,' 'loser,' 'shit lip.' It...It's not right."
