CHAPTER NINETEEN: ALL YOU ARE IS MEAN

OUTSIDE the Cobra Kai dojo stood numerous teenagers, excited waiting for Johnny to show up and for training to begin. The dojo's Instagram account had gained dozens of followers since Miguel and Molly's fight in the cafeteria. Despite the fact that she should have been thrilled over the boost in business, Molly couldn't help but feel deflated.

She hadn't talked to her father since the morning before when she left for school. She had spent the night at Robby's and thankfully their mother didn't come home to see her there. The two stayed up the entire night, neither of them sleeping for even a second. Instead, they watched movie after movie as they talked about what they wanted to do in the future.

Miguel stood next to Molly, excited to show her dad the large number of new students who wanted to join. He kept trying to get Molly to share his enthusiasm but to no avail.

"Come on, Molly. This is exciting!" Miguel shook one of her shoulders as he spoke with a small smirk.

"Why are you yelling?" Molly groaned as she pushed her sunglasses further up the bridge of her nose.

Her head was hurting from her lack of sleep and she wanted to curl into a ball. She sighed as her dad pulled up in his car, looking around in shock at the teenagers surrounding Miguel and Molly. The man got out of the car and walked to the two teenagers, a sage green gift bag in his hands.

"Looks like we're in business," Johnny said to the two, gaining a smile from Miguel.

The Lawrence man unlocked the door to the dojo, Molly and Miguel following him before the rest of the students trailed behind them. Molly had set down her bag next to the door of her dad's office, getting ready to grab her clothes to change into when her dad called her in.
