CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE: DON'T TELL MY DAD❝ all valley ❞

     TRAINING as always was one of Molly's favorite parts of the day, right after when she would give Aisha and Eli rides home and she would hang out at the boy's house until she had to go home for the night. Johnny was walking around the dojo as he called out corrections to different students. Well, that was until one of them flinched when the sensei walked past him and another one when he pretended to hit him.

"Holy shit. We've got a room full of flinchers," Johnny said as he looked around, the students yelling out "Yes, Sensei" in response. "That was not a question. Raise your hand if you've never been punched in the face."

Everyone in the room apart from Molly, Aisha, and Miguel raised their hands. Johnny began going on a tangent about how the teens avoided fights in order to avoid injuries. Molly, who stood between Aisha and Miguel, watched as her dad walked to the front of the room to face his students.

"There's only one solution and that is before you leave this dojo, each and every one of you is gonna take a punch, very hard, to the face. Molly, Miss Robinson, line 'em up! Unflinch this group."

Molly and Aisha looked at each other with wide smiles before turning to the group of students in the dojo. The rest of the room began splitting up into two lines, Molly waving Bert into her line with a warm smile. She didn't plan on going too hard on him since he was significantly smaller than the rest of the group.
