CHAPTER TWENTY: AN INTERVENTION IS NEEDED

     CATCHING up to Miguel and Demetri who were walking down the hallway together, Molly pushed her way in between the two boys.

"That...that's hooker talk," Demetri said and Molly laughed.

"What about Miggy being a hooker?" The girl asked, fixing her smudged lip gloss when Demetri pointed to it with a raised eyebrow. "Leave me and what I do in the haunted bathroom alone."

She may or may not have just come from making out with Eli in the supposedly haunted girl's bathroom down the hall. Hardly anyone ever went in there because there were rumors of a girl's ghost haunting it but Molly didn't buy it. It was probably just a rumor that got started by some seniors messing with freshmen.

"Molls, tell him that I don't need to learn karate because I have you two," the boy said as he wrapped an arm around the girl's shoulders, nodding toward Kyler who saw the two teens and walked in the other direction. "See? No one's gonna mess with you two. Now, can we please discuss the predicament that is Molly and Eli being somewhat together but not being official?"

"Would you look at the time? I got to go. Bye!" Molly said before rushing off in the opposite direction of the two boys.

She walked to her next class with a pep in her step, excited for the rest of the day. School went by pretty quickly which the girl was thankful for until she pulled up to the dojo and remembered how the day prior had gone. Molly let out a small sigh as Eli, Aisha, and Miguel got out of her car.

The Diaz boy waited for the Lawrence girl to get out of the car as well, the two walking to the doors of the dojo together.

"You alright?" Miguel asked as he opened the door for her to walk through.
