Maleficent and Hades walked through the castle doors, hand in hand, looking to be in total bliss. Belle was the first to see them.

"Welcome back, you two," she smiled. "I take it the honeymoon was good?"

"Very," Maleficent returned, grinning. "Where is Mal?"

"Her and Ben are on royal business at the moment," Belle informed the former villain. "They should be back within the hour. Ben and I took the liberty of moving your things into a room together. I assume you want to live together?"

"Yes, thank you so much, Belle," Hades said. "You've been so kind and welcoming. We can't appreciate it enough."

"The pleasure is all mine," Belle smiled. "It's lovely to see the love blossom between you two. Mal will be thrilled for you."

"We hope so," Maleficent chuckled nervously.

"Mom?" Mal entered the living room. "Dad? I'm so happy you guys are back!"

Mal hugged her parents while Ben and Belle stood back and smiled, knowing what was about to happen.

"Mali," Hades started, "you know we love you, right?"

"Yes?" she replied anxiously, wondering what this could've been about.

"Well, we spent some time together after we made up," Maleficent told her daughter. "And we... rekindled, if you will."

"Okay?" Mal questioned, getting more and more curious. "Where is this going?"

"Well, honey," Hades replied, "we found out we still love each other."

"Guys, this is great!" the purple-haired girl exclaimed.

"And we got married last week," Maleficent informed her, and the couple held their hands out to display their rings.

"Faster than me and Ben," Mal laughed. "I'm really happy you guys. You deserve just as much happiness as anyone else in Auradon."

"I'm glad you're happy, Mali," Hades smiled.

"So..." Belle trailed off. "Celebratory dinner tonight?"

"I'm in," Mal said.

"Me, too," Ben added.

"Celebration dinner for what?" Adam asked, entering the room.

"Well, I married Maleficent and Hades last week," Belle informed him. "They have just come back from their honeymoon."

"Oh," Adam answered, smiling. "Well, congratulations, you two."

"Thank you," Hades smiled, pulling Maleficent closer to him.

"We must have a celebratory dinner for this," the former king announced. "Mal, would you like to invite yours and Ben's friends over?"

"Absolutely, if Mom and Dad are okay with it, that is?" Mal said questioningly, looking to her parents, who smiled and nodded.
