So, while Mal was being shipped off to magic camp with Merlin, the rest of the kids at Auradon Prep continued on with their daily routines. The new VK's were welcomed with open arms. Carlos got to reunite with Diego, Harold and Jason, and Gil with his older brothers. Evie took on the new girls with Uma and Harriet, while Jay, Carlos and Harry inducted the boys. The new VK's coming to Auradon was more or less discomforting for the rest of the residents of Auradon. While they knew their king and Maleficent needed their faith, they couldn't shake the fear of the past repeating itself. However, they did try to make the best of the situation.

Carlos and Jane sat on the steps of the museum. "Five more minutes," Carlos laughed at Jane, who was jiggling her legs impatiently, waiting for the museum to open.

"I'm sorry," she blushed. "I'm just really excited to be on a date with you."

"Why?" Carlos chuckled. "It's not like we haven't had dates before."

"I know," replied Jane. "I just don't think I'll ever not be excited to be sharing my company with you, you know?"

"I think I do know," he told her. He kissed her on the forehead just as the curator opened the doors to the museum. Jane and Carlos jumped up, excited, and walked into the museum.

"That was amazing," Jane sighed happily as they came out of the museum.

"Yeah," Carlos agreed, nodding. "Especially since I wasn't there to steal something this time."

They laughed. "Shall we head to Tiana's Palace?" Jane asked and Carlos nodded.

As soon as they arrived at the restaurant, they were seated. Jane ordered a chicken with roast vegetables, and Carlos got fish and chips. They laughed and talked over their lunch, before deciding to split a dessert; pumpkin pie, of course. They took their forks and fed a piece to one another.

Jane laughed. "You have some pie on your mouth," she giggled.

"Where?" Carlos asked, licking his lips. "Here?"

"Let me get it," she smiled.

She leaned across the table and stroked his cheek. They stared into each other's eyes, admiring each other. She bit her lip before leaning in and kissing him tenderly. They kissed for a few moments before they pulled away, blushing.

"Jay!" Lonnie giggled. "Stop tickling me!"

"But you're Mulan's daughter!" Jay exclaimed in response. "You're not supposed to be ticklish!" He stopped and laid back on the bed with her. "Lonnie?" he asked.

"Yeah?" she said.

"You know I'm from the Isle, obviously," he started, sitting up. "There was a lot that I missed out on, growing up there. One of those things being feeling love. I was a player, and I had no interest in settling down with anyone, mainly because I could never really tell if I was feeling love for someone. But I know now, Lonnie. I know what love feels like. I love you."

"Oh, Jay," she whispered, tears in her eyes. "I love you, too."

They kissed, passionately. They kissed until they had over-exerted themselves from strenuous activities. Jay started getting out of the bed after a long time of cuddling.
