Mal had received a text earlier in the day. No sender name, no real message, no clues on what it meant. Just a location. Hall of Villains. She showed up in front of the terrifying statues of Maleficent, Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil and Jafar. There was nothing there. Then she heard a laugh. An evil cackle, not unlike the one her once-friend had.
She turned around. "Mad Maddy," Mal sneered. "Where are my friends?!"
"In good time, old friend," Maddy chuckled. "I need something from you first."
"How did you get off of the Isle?" Mal asked. "Security was tightened after Uma attacked at Cotillion."
"I snuck out underneath the limo when they picked up your mother last night," Maddy laughed in response. "No wonder it was so easy for Uma to get over here. Now, what I need from you is Fairy Godmother's wand. I need it to bring down the barrier."
"That's an impossible task," Mal replied. "She keeps it with her at all times. She sleeps with it next to her in a magic force field."
"Then figure it out," Maddy said. "You have 48 hours. Now go! And Mal? If you try that 3D printed wand trick again, you can say goodbye to your friends and their little unborn runts."
With that final warning and a cackle, Maddy disappeared. Mal sighed. How was she going to do this? She could always 3D print the wand and replace Fairy Godmother's real wand until she could defeat Maddy. But how was she going to defeat her? They both had pretty much the same magic. And for all Mal knew, Maddy could be stronger than her. Mal hadn't used her magic since Cotillion, plus she was pregnant now. She needed to think of her unborn baby as well. She also couldn't tell anyone else. Or could she? Mad Maddy hadn't exactly specified whether or not she could tell anyone.
"Guys, meet me at Tiana's in half an hour," Mal said into her phone.

Half an hour later, everyone was assembled at Tiana's. "What's up, Mal?" Doug asked, annoyed. "In case you haven't noticed, our girls are pregnant and missing. We need to find them."
"I know," Mal replied. "Mad Maddy has them."
"I thought she was still on the Isle?" Carlos said in a worried tone.
"Well, apparently she snuck out underneath the limo that brought my mother here," Mal replied, sighing.
"Wait, who's Mad Maddy?" asked Jane.
"Madam Mim," Jay answered. "The one who fought Merlin all those years ago? Yeah, her granddaughter."
"Wait, so that means she has--"
"She has pretty much the same powers as me," Mal said, cutting off Lonnie. "Which makes her twice as dangerous. I haven't used my powers since Cotillion and I'm pregnant, which, for all I know, could reduce the strength of my powers."
"What does she even want?" Jay asked.
"What did we want?" Mal answered. "What did Uma want? As usual, we have a mad VK demanding Fairy Godmother's wand so they can bring down the barrier. I want to try and go by the rules on this one."
"After you guys and Uma, Mom keeps that thing locked down on her at all times," Jane said. "It'd be pretty hard to steal it."
"Are you sure about that?" Mal asked, waving Fairy Godmother's wand in the air. "I need to keep this safeguarded at all times. I'm not doing the same stupid thing with the 3D printed wand. That's the one Fairy Godmother has right now. I also stole my spell book from the museum."
"So much for going by the rules," Chad mumbled.
"Look here, pretty boy," Mal snapped. "If you want your girlfriend and unborn child back in one piece, it's this way or no way. Got it?"
