Hey guys. I was wondering if you wanted to come to the castle for dinner with Ben's parents and my mom? We have a special guest I'd like to introduce to you.
Mal breathed out gently as she tapped send on the message. "If you're not ready, Mal," Ben started, "you really don't have to tell your friends. We can wait a while."
"No, Ben," she sighed. "I've hid this from all of them the entire time I've known and been friends with them. I need to come clean."
"Okay," he smiled. "You know I'll support you no matter what decisions you make, right? Because I love you." He kissed her forehead.
"I love you, too," she smiled before kissing his lips.
"Ben, have you heard back from--" Belle cut herself off after walking in on the loving display between her son and future daughter-in-law.
"Sorry, Mom," he chuckled softly, embarrassed.
"No, that's quite alright, sweetheart," she smiled. "I'm so happy for the both of you. I love watching your love blossom and grow every day. On another note, I was wondering if your friends were coming for dinner? I just need to let Mrs. Potts know how many the staff will be serving tonight. They're welcome to stay the night as well if you'd like."
"Already ahead of you on that one, Belle," Mal laughed. "I just messaged everyone, so I can come and let you know if you'd like?"
"Thank you, Mal," the older woman smiled in response. "That will be very appreciated." Belle turned to leave the room, before swiftly turning back around. "You don't know where your father went do you?" she asked worriedly. "We checked his room, and he wasn't there."
"I'll find him," Mal sighed. "I haven't seen him since lunch yesterday. I think him and Mom are mad at me."
"Honey, you were very reasonable," Belle smiled, trying to make the younger girl feel better. "They were acting like children. They need to learn how to get along if they want to stay here. I know that's all you want for them. Their attitudes towards Auradon may have changed, but their personal situation is delicate. Just give it some time." She hugged Mal, before turning and leaving the room.

"Nice try, Jay," Lonnie told Jay. "It has to be done, whether you like it or not. I love you, and I'm excited for this next step in our relationship. This needs to be shared. We talked about this a few days ago. It's time." He groaned. "And I don't want to hear another word about it. Meet Carlos at your dorm and pack some clothes. We're staying at the King's palace tonight." And with that, she shoved him out of the room.

"Dad? Dad?" Mal called out. "I need to know where you are!" No answer. She sighed and looked down at her belly. "Where's your grandfather, Little Dragon?" she asked, as if the fetus might have actually decided to answer her.
