SEASON 2 ───────── Highlights: At the start of season 2 Aelyse's absence is noted. She had joined Colin on his travels to Greece, where she spend a great time with him, but also with none other than the prince William, the second son of Queen Charlotte. The three ran into each other and stayed together whilst traveling through the country, where one must say the lady and her prince grew pretty close together. Yet, at the end of it, she and Colin returned to London whilst prince William preferes Greece over his mother the queen, who kept on pressuring her 15 children to get her a grandchild. When they arrived back in london the first thing the Aelyse and Colin did was to return to the Bridgertons, suprising Lady Violet, Eloise, Penelope and Benedict in the living room as they casually walk in, receiving hugs from almost everyone, as the bridgertons have grown rather fond of their Worthington friend. After catching up with everyone, and a rather akward vibe between her and Benedict, the group heads on to the races to which Anthony invites her~ wanting someone else on his side to handle Kate Sharma, who keeps on getting between him and Edwina. However, that seems to fail as during the season, Kate and Aelyse become greater and greater friends, quickly taking a liking to eachother. Unlike the bridgerton brothers, Aelyse places her bet on High Flyer, earning a rather teasing comment from Benedict. In the final round, Aelyse and Eloise share a loud cheering hug after High Flyer indeed wins the races, to which Aelyse gladly teased Benedict back, for nectar, his bet, did not win at all.
At the end of season 2 however, tragedy strikes the Worthington household when lady Olivia suddenly falls sick. With the help of Lady Danbury they try as much as possible to help the lady of the household. But it seems to be of no use. With Lady Danbury and Aelyse at her side Lady Olivia, Aelyse's mother, passes over peacefully. It's been said that the last words she muttered where an 'i love you' towards her daughter and then the name of her husband before all becomes quiet
