The shiny gates stood before me. The shivering gold is slightly blinding. My head starts to flood with memories. I've been here before...

"Lucifer you can't!" He wanted to give Eve, the new wife for Adam, the forbidden fruit... The council would outcast him in the blink of an eye.
"Lillith, you can't possibly think this is a good idea!" I turn to her.
"Well I do, that jack ass of an 'earth's first man' deserves it!"
"Y/n, it will fix the reality those seraphims created! They think they know it all, and I know I dont, but I have a good feeling about my way!" Lucifer reasoned.
"I agree with you, your way is better but this can't be the only way to play it out! I CAN'T LOOSE YOU!" I yelled.
He pulled me in for a hug.
"I'm sorry, but its what we need to do" he said looking at Lillith with a loving look. That killed me inside. I'd never tell him, but I was in love with him. "Its what I need to do..."
"Just promise me you'll be careful..."
"I promise"  he said holding my hands in his reassuringly while he looked deep into my e/c eyes. I kissed his forhead and flew away from the surface of Eden back to the clouds.

As I watched from my high steeple in the Heavens, him tricking Eve and Adam to eat the Fruit of Knowledge, I realized how bad of an idea it truely was.

The Elders yelled at him for his crimes and sins, and they threw him into the pit of which his actions created. I watched as he and Lillith hit the floor of the firey depth he now must call home, them both rapped up in his wings. I tried to follow them into the hole in the clouds, the portal, but an invisible barrier kept  me from getting through. "NO! LUCIFER! PLEASE!!" I screamed and cried, punching repeatedly, hitting the transparent wall between us.

He regained contiousness, and I watched as he tried to fly back up to the now closing hole, but chains pulled him back down to the ground. I clawed at the enclosing edges trying to keep it open, but to no avail. I sat there hot tears streaming down my face. My best friend was gone. I had no way to him and he had no way back to me...

For angels what is 3 days is like thousands of human years later-

I can't stay here in heaven. Not without him.

"Lord, I ask humbly if you would allow for my soul to be reincarnated to a human form."
Shocked God replied "Why do you wish for this? Are you not happy here in Heaven?"
"Not in the way you think Father. I wish to be to escape the pain of the loss of Lucifer. He was my best friend. I loved him with all my heart. I'd like to forget for a while, and see where my soul truely ends up instead of being granted automatic heavenly 'afterlife'."
"Very well" he sighs, and with the snap of his fingers, I'm regaining vision in a bright room, getting cooed at with lots of attention. The cold room makes me cry and I seen my new mother and father. I wont remember this years later, but I'm glad to be a human now.
