today was april fool's day. and i didn't know if my dad had anything up his sleeve. probably to be honest. before i did anything though, i grabbed my phone.

it had all the latest notifications, but it had one that i'd been dying to see. so, me and this guy have been talking, not very long, like a week ago basically.

but he's so nice, and sweet. he texts me in the morning, or when he thinks it's the morning for me. i've had a couple 'goodnight' texts at two in the afternoon for me.

he's lucky he's cute though. just as i suspected, he texted me. and it was right on time.

luca: buongiorno amore

avi: morning

luca: mi sei mancato

avi: missed you too

luca: 😘

avi: how was your day, while i was sleeping?

luca: la mia giornata è andata bene, sono andato a nuotare, a fare uno spuntino. il tuo sonno è andato bene?

avi: my sleep was okay, might go to the beach today too, if my dad lets me

luca: sai nuotare?

avi: a bit, yeah, you worried about me?

sighing to herself to peeled herself off her bed, and pulled herself to get in the shower. stepping out of the shower, and into her room.

she flicked through her closet, trying to find something to wear. she settled on a sundress, very out of the ordinary for her. she went back into the bathroom and dried her hair, then went downstairs.

she sat on the couch and opened up her laptop. she's been emailing her school principal about all the extra classes she would have to take to pass and actually graduate high school this year.

crystal came over halfway through my math class, online. "how's your morning going?" "it's okay, i'm stuck on the homework." "do you want someone to help you?" "is uncle luke here?" "yeah, michael, baby!" my dad rushed into the room, "are you two okay?!" "yeah, can you get luke?" "why?" "i need him to help me with my math homework and he's like the only good one at it."

luke helped me finish my homework, math specifically. and then i finished the rest. by now it was 2 in the afternoon and we were heading out for a late lunch.

we met everyone up at the restaurant, and i sat between crystal and my dad.

lunch went great as usual and we came back to the house around 3:30. i went to my room, for a little me time.

i opened up my phone, as i haven't been on it all day. luca did have a text waiting for me though.

luca: la cena era buona, e ora parlerò con te per un po'. mi manca parlare con te! :(

avi: is it late where you are?

luca: solo alle 12:30 amore mio

avi: sleep !!

luca: no, voglio restare e parlare con te :(
