We Cannot Hide

Uzi was pissed off, like extremely pissed. Without her permission, he invited her stepsister into their mission. And he is refusing to see that this might be a part of Adam's plans, to send more drones to inspect their mission. He hissed as she stormed through the hallways kicking, the pieces of scraps against the wall before she bumped into Thad again. She flushed before apologizing.

"Sorry" She said, her head bowing down.

He scratched his back before chuckling, then he messed with her hair slightly.

"Classic Uzi, always clumsy" He said jokingly.

She pouted which only made him laugh a little bit more, as he hugged her gently. She gave herself into the embrace hugging him tightly. It's been a long time since anyone has hugged her like this.

"Damn I wish I can go, I hate to leave you again" He said softly and sadly.

"Yeah I know," She replied.

But then a thought ran through her head, if N can invite one of his "childhood friends" why the damn hell can't she.

"Why can't you go?" She asked.

He raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Why can't you go, like why shouldn't you be able to come with me?" She asked.

His eyes brightened, and he did a little happy dance.

"Can I? I mean I know how to use a gun. I could be of help" He said with a huge grin on his face.

"Go pack your stuff, it's payback time b*tches" Uzi said happily.

"Why the hell is he doing here?" N sneered.

"Ugh f*ck off, blondie" Uzi said sarcastically.

"Oh no no no no! You are not bringing a drone on here" He snapped

"Oh so you can bring your friend but I can't bring mine? The equality here is outrageous" She said snickering.

N had to change his tactic, "You brought an innocent worker drone here, have you ever thought that he, your friend might get injured? Quit being stubborn and petty and think, I don't care what you have against your sister but this is uncalled for"

She glared at him, hating that he made a pretty good point. But she and That grew up together, she even taught him to use a gun, and he was pretty goddamn hell great at it.

"He unlike you is the closest thing I have to a friend, so f*cking back off. You don't own me" She hissed in reply.

She pushed past him and dug through her stuff, retrieving a USB before plugging it into her. A hologram popped up that showed a blueprint of a gun, she examined it quickly before grabbing a bat backpack before exiting.

"Oh no, you're not going anywhere until we sort this out" He replied harshly before following her.

She ignored him walking out into the scrapped filled hive. She dug around to find a green generator, along with some scrap. He watched as her fingers spun the pieces of metal into a railgun just like the blueprint. He couldn't hide his amazement as he watched her make a new gun totally from scrap. He opened the compartment in her hand removing the old gun and replacing it with the updated one.

"Are you listening to me, you cannot acted this f*cking rashly" He snapped.

She turned on his heels and shot her new railgun at the wall, her eyes crossing into a purple X. He watched as the corpse of dead worker drones crumpled like dust, and he stared her down. This set him off, and he came at her replacing his hands with graphite blades.

"If you are going to destroy this place then leave" He hissed.

She glowered and lowered her gun before turning away. She stalked out angrily, clenching her hand by her side.

"Well I am sorry, it's not like you cared about my opinion either" She shouted back.

He stiffened at her words, before sighing. He approached her before placing an arm on her shoulder, forcing her to look at him. She felt her face flushed when he came in contact with her, and she looked away. He lifted her chin slightly before pushing closer to her.

"Hey look at me, I am sorry alright. I was inconsiderate of what you thought" He said softly.

"Whatever" She said, crossing her arms before pouting.

He couldn't help but smile at her actions. He hesitated before patting her head, before she unsuccessfully tried to stop him.

"I don't care if you are friends with her, just keep her out of my way" She huffed.

He sighed, realizing this was the best he could do and nodded. Then she bent over, gasping for air the next second. Her visor glitched, and she threw up oil. He panicked and grabbed her, shaking her as she passed.

"Uzi, Uzi what's wrong?" He panicked.

Her visor flickered into an all too familiar golden color, and he froze. Her hand came up to his face, but instead of her usual warm touch there was a frightening coldness to it that sent chills down his back.

"It's nice to see you again, big brother," Uzi-now-Cyn smiled.

"I only have a few moments to talk to big brother, please. I don't have much time before the Solver and Adam will try to destroy my last piece of consciousness on the Net. You must go to the cabins, everything you seek will start there"

"Remember, golden retrievers have gentle mouths" She said softly before her visor flickered back into its amethyst purple coloring.

Uzi gasped and breathed heavily as Cyn left her body. She grabbed N tightly pulling him towards her, panicking as she did. Her visor changed again, the solver symbol twisting itself on her visor into a butterfly. Then black branchlike vines and metal claws came out of her, covering themselves with deep purple flowers. Her visor cracked on the right where her solver was, purple flowers sprouting out of them. She looked out of this world, as she stood there in the moon's glory. He couldn't help but let out a quiet gasp, as she stood there for a moment.

"Who are you?" He whispered.

"I am..." She started before multiple voices interrupted.

The voice hissed simultaneously,

"The resurrected"

"The redeemed"

"The reborn"

"The hope"

"The beginning"

"N, you mustn't tell her about me," Uzi said, bringing her finger to her lips.

"She mustn't remember yet, she mustn't remember herself. Forgive me my angel"

Then she snapped back to reality, the branches withdrawing back into her.

"Uzi!" He shouted as she fell, he rushed to catch her in the nick of time.
