They had talked long into the night last night, but eventually, she, Ginny, and Hermione were forced to depart into their own tent. They slept for a few hours, then ate a rushed breakfast with the boys before hurrying to take an early portkey back to Stoatshead Hill. Cassie had wanted to go to Draco's tent, but her father told her that her mum would be worried and that she could send him an owl later.

When they finally got home, her mother hurried out of the house and hugged them all. Cassie, however, rushed up to Ron's room to borrow Pig to send an owl to Draco. She wrote a quick letter before sending it off with Ron's owl.

Draco,

What were you talking about at the cup? What did you mean that 'they' couldn't find me and my brother there? Who are 'they'? What do you know?

Sorry for such a short letter. I'll see you on the train, take care xx

-Cassie

When she had finished her letter to Draco, she put Ron's quill away and went downstairs to eat lunch. Her mind was stuck on the blonde boy as she realized what he had called her last night. My love. What did he mean by that? She thought silently to herself.

It had been two weeks since the World Cup ended, and it was now September 1st. She was excited to go back to Hogwarts, but she felt that 2 weeks wasn't nearly enough time with Bill. Charlie had left for Romania just a week ago and she missed him already.

Draco responded to her letter the day after she returned home from the World Cup. Cassie had only scoffed at the letter when she had read it, it was very vague and practically said that he couldn't tell her but to trust him. Of course she trusted him, she thought. But some answers would've been nice.

She was currently in the room that Ginny and she shared, with Hermione and Ginny, getting dressed and packing her trunk.

Hermione had already packed her trunk, so she was looking around the room to ensure she had all of her stuff packed. She looked around frantically, searching for a book that she wasn't sure she had even brought with her to the burrow in the first place. "Mione, if you did bring it then Mum and Dad will find it and they'll be able to send it to Hogwarts with Errol." Hermione looked over at her, with a defeated expression on her face. "Yes and that's all very well, but I don't want to trouble your parents, Cass."

Cassie sighed and smiled, knowing that her parents adored Hermione and would never feel troubled by her. Just then, Ginny spoke. "Mione, you could never trouble them. They love you." Cassie sent an approving glance at Ginny, who smiled back at her. Hermione only nodded and smiled uncertainly, but stopped searching nonetheless.

She heard her mother shouting from downstairs that it was 10 and that they needed to go now, or else they would miss the train. Hermione flinched and looked more stressed than ever. She grabbed her trunk and began carrying it downstairs. Cassie and Ginny did the same, and finally, they got going.
