For blissful dreams may then arise,
Revealing to my charmed sight,
What may not bless my waking eyes"

TW: Very brief mentions of rape

Cassie spent the next couple of days just enjoying the Christmas holidays with Ron, Harry and Hermione. She hadn't talked to Draco once since he had called her a slut, and it turns out that Ron and Harry had overheard their row outside the great hall, and, according to Theo and Blaise, Ron had tried hexing him with the slug hex again but he was luckily stopped by Harry. Cassie wouldn't like to think what would've happened to Ron if he had succeeded in hexing Draco this time.

Theo and Blaise both seemed to feel bad for her, but she didn't want their pity. Besides, they only knew half the story. They didn't know they had kissed, nor that Draco had asked her out. Cassandra pretended like everything was fine, and she could pretend all she wanted but the fact was that Draco's words stung. A lot.

The fact that he had called her a slut when he knew that she had been attacked last year made everything worse, and in her mind, she took his words to mean that he thought she was a slut because of what Pucey's friend did to her. Because she was raped. And this, this hurt more than anything else. She had confided in him and he had made her think she could trust him, only to throw this in her face later, and for what?

She was now sitting with Harry, Ron and Hermione in the Gryffindor common room, and they were all talking about the second task. Harry had taken Cedric up on his suggestion to take a bath with the egg, and Harry had realized that the message meant that the champions would need to swim in the black lake, to look for something that would be stolen.

The only problem was that Harry wasn't a good swimmer and didn't know anything that would help him breathe underwater for an hour. It was the day before the second task, and Harry was beginning to lose his composure.

"Look, we'll go down to the library and figure something out, alright? We'll find something, don't worry." Cassandra told him soothingly, he smiled at her and nodded. His sister always managed to cheer him up.

They all stood up and went down to the library together, and once they arrived there, they started searching through every book they could find for anything that would help Harry breathe underwater. But they found nothing, absolutely nothing.

Eventually, Ron, Hermione and Cassie decided that it would be better if they all just went to bed and hoped for the best, Harry, however, wanted to stay. After many failed attempts to convince Harry that he needed to rest before the task, they left him in the library. Cassie turned left and descended the many staircases until she eventually arrived outside the entrance to the Slytherin common room.

"Fairy lights" She muttered, and the entrance appeared out of nowhere in the wall. Cassandra walked down the staircase only to be met with Draco sitting on the couch. He was wearing his usual, disgustingly-handsome sneer when he looked over at her. She scowled at him before turning to leave, but he stood in front of her, not letting her pass.

"What do you want, Draco?" She said with a sigh as she looked at him. He shrugged his shoulders innocently and looked at her. "Nothing, just to annoy you." He said with a sneer, as he crossed his arms over his chest.
