"I drag myself out of nightmares each morning and find there's no relief in waking up. Better not to give into it. It takes ten times as long to put yourself back together as it does to fall apart."

Cassie was currently sat in Professor Binns' classroom. She usually sat next to Draco, but this time she sat beside Theo. It hadn't been awkward between her and Draco per se- It was just a bit tense. He had kissed her again, and Cassie thought he seemed to regret it, or at least that's what it seemed like.
History of magic was extremely boring, as it usually was. Cassie felt her eyelids begin to droop as Binns kept droning on about Goblin wars and before she knew it, she had fallen asleep, her head in her hand.
She was riding on the back of an eagle owl, soaring through the clear blue sky toward an old, ivy-covered house set high on a hillside. Lower and lower they flew, the wind blowing pleasantly in Cassandra's face until they reached a dark and broken window in the upper story of the house and entered.
Now they were flying along a gloomy passageway, to a room at the very end, through the door they went, into a dark room whose windows were boarded up. Cassie had left the owl's back, she was watching now as it fluttered across the room, into a chair with its back to her. There were two dark shapes on the floor beside the chair, both of them were stirring. One was a huge snake- the other was a man, a short, balding man, a man with watery eyes and a pointed nose... He was wheezing and sobbing on the rug.
"You are in luck, Wormtail," said a cold, high-pitched voice from the depths of the chair where the owl had landed that Cassie recognized as Voldemorts. "You are very fortunate indeed. Your blunder has not ruined everything. He is dead." Voldemort continued, and Wormtail let out a sigh of relief.
"My Lord!" gasped the man on the floor that was Peter Pettigrew. "My Lord, I am- I am so pleased, and so sorry." Wormtail continued, and Voldemort still didn't look at him.
"Nagini," said the cold voice, "You are out of luck. I will not be feeding Wormtail to you, after all, but never mind, never mind...there is still Harry and Cassandra Potter." The snake hissed as Voldemort spoke, and Cassie could see its tongue fluttering.
"Now, Wormtail," said the cold voice, "perhaps one more little reminder why I will not tolerate another blunder from you..."
