Ever wondered what it is like to be trapped in a series of conflicting thoughts? Well that's the situation Taehyung has been experiencing past two days. Meeting with Lee Do Hyun has open a new side of the story—Lee Jung Jae, their superintendent.
If Lee Do Hyun introduced his girlfriend Han So Hee, who he intended to propose, to his beloved uncle Jung Jae, then why didn't he mention anything about this connection? Was he ashamed of his nephew dating a married woman? Was he afraid that his nephew would be accused of murdering her? Is that why he wanted to solve this case discreetly?
Then came the question why Jung Hoseok was now contacting Taehyung? Why now? Why did Yoongi give his new number to a suspect? Well Yoongi is unaware that Taehyung and Jungkook are suspecting Hoseok. However, Jung Hoseok's one message led Taehyung into deep thinking.
Playing all the memories, all the conversations they had in the past again and again to analyse if there was anything missing. Maybe some of his answers would be answered by tomorrow evening. Because, Taehyung has agreed to meet Jung Hoseok, his former partner at a bar little away from the city.
Obviously, Jungkook doesn't like the idea of Taehyung meeting the potential suspect. He hasn't even seen this man Jung Hoseok in person before. After few bickering, Taehyung has agreed to Jungkook's suggestion of him tagging along but in disguise. Jungkook would no way juggle with Taehyung's safety.
Taehyung has only few more weeks before the contract of his temporary release ends. Even though Jungkook promised him that the younger would request to re-open his case with all the new evidence that they had found, yet Taehyung is not sure how long it will take for everything to be resolved.
Spending time with Jungkook for a month...a stranger who is also an attractive bratty young detective, was nothing like Taehyung expected. For sure he is attracted to Jungkook and seems like they had one of a kind wild experience together (which he greatly regret for not remembering), however their bond is different. Taehyung feels like Jungkook understands him more than his late wife ever did. An unexplainable relationship formed within a short span of time.
He is not ready to go back to prison. For one, he still wants to put an end to this complicated case and most importantly, he doesn't want to leave Jungkook. He is not sure how Jungkook sees him but a hope that the younger feels the same settles in his heart.

"You should wear these in-ear device and also this button camera." Jungkook shows little devices in his hand. "Jungkook, you very well know that Hobi hyung is an officer just like you and me. He will definitely notice these. We cannot risk anything at this point." Taehyung smiles faintly.
He is not scared of Hoseok but there is something brewing inside his head which he didn't even share with Jungkook. Maybe it's just his gut feelings, even a foolish thought, but he knows the only who could confirm his intuition is Jung Hoseok.
Taehyung took a cab to the location send by Hoseok and Jungkook slowly followed the elder. He covered himself with hoodie, mask, cap and whatnot. Even though Hoseok has not seen Jungkook, Yoongi might have already provided details or visuals of Jungkook.
By the time Taehyung reaches the small bar in the suburb, Hoseok was already waiting for him. Taehyung took a deep breath before pushing the door open. The bar is nothing like what in the city. It plays a slow jazz in the background, few old customers, dim lights unlike the neon ones in the city bars, and very less crowd.
Hoseok waves his hand to bring Taehyung's attention to him, motioning his hand to the bar stool beside him. Taehyung smiles softly as he walks ahead. "Taehyung-ah, how are you?" The man asked cheerfully as always.
