Lee Jung Jae, the mastermind of this whole serial killer drama, has now found his next target. He once was an honest man who loved his wife more than himself however the only flaw he had in him was possessiveness and jealousy.
Lee Si young was a very smart and educated woman who used to be a journalist. In fact Jung Jae fell in love with her while he was working on a murder case back then. She used to be the main reporter for KBS, and she makes sure to always find her own way to uncover the truth.
Soon after their marriage she got conceived with a child. They were entranced by the news and were eagerly waiting for the arrival of their baby girl. Unfortunately, due to various circumstances caused by Lee Si young's job, she had a miscarriage which shattered Jung Jae. They later decided to take time to heal from the trauma.
She had to meet many officials, politicians, and others as part of work. Jung Jae started noticing how she is very close to his superior Mr Bahyun (now DGP). They were friends even before, yes he knows that...but Jung Jae feels there was something more than just friends.
Seeds of doubt was planted on the night of a party organised by one of the politicians. Lee Si Young was invited as she was a well known journalist. Jung Jae noticed how touchy both his wife and superior were.
It took six months for him to follow them around and later decided to take action. The rage build in him was beyond controllable. He spiked her bottle of water with Pentobarbital, a drug that's once consumed takes around 30 minutes to kill. They both were heading to their respective offices.
It has been a routine for them to leave for work together as Jung Jae drops his wife off at her office and then he drive to his. Jung Jae knows how his wife has a habit of drinking water once she gets into the car. Just like he anticipated, she did drink water from her bottle. He smirks lightly before igniting the engine.
"Honey, will you be honest with me if I ask you about something." Jung Jae initiated the conversation. "Huh? Why suddenly? Of course I have always been honest with you." She replied cheerfully. "Hey, why are you turning here? That's not the route to our office. What's going on?" She frowns at the change of direction.
"Whats your relationship with Mr Bahyun? Are you perhaps cheating on me with him?" The accusation was a deep stab in Si Young's heart. "What the hell are you saying?" She was shocked hearing that. "You don't have to pretend anymore darling. I had been watching you both for past 6 months. What does he have that I don't? What is he giving you that I am not?" The rage building in him resulted to increase the car speed.
"Jung Jae, slow down...what are you talking? You know Bahyun Oppa is my friend, we have always been close even before I married you. You were fine all these years, so why now?"

Si Young, held the handle above the door for some grip as the car drifts in the turning. "Jung Jae you are going to kill us if you—."
"I'm going to kill you, not me. I rather live alone than with a cheater. I thought you love me the same way but guess I was wrong. I will always and only love you Lee Si Young." Jung Jae changed the gear again and the speed increased to 120 Kmph, aiming to hit a massive tree by the side of the road.
The road itself was empty. It's not the route to their office but outskirts of the city where it's less crowded. "Are you crazy? Jung Jae nooo—,"
