Sammy&The Mark of Athena

It was a normal day. Sammy and his friends where playing in the field behind their houses. Then a giant bright cloud descended from the heavens and an image appeared. It was Athena, Sammy was so surprised. While his friends stumbled backwards, he stepped forward and confronted Athena.
He said "Hello Athena, what can I do for you today."
Athena spoke in a beautiful but strong voice and said "hello my son, it is great to see you but I carry important news for you. I come to give you a quest."
Then Sammy responded and said "What's the quest".
Athena was happy to hear him say that. Then she spoke "you must follow this map to the Athena Parthenos. While you follow this map you will face several difficult monsters. You must defeat them in order to get to the next task. If you and your friends are able to defeat these monsters you shall get to the Athena Parthenos. "
Then Artemis and Mickey stepped forward. Artemis spoke with fear and said what do you mean by if we defeat these monsters?"
"I mean that you might not return."
After she said that he spoke " if you know all this then why can't you do this quest yourself?"
"I have tried, but the mark doesn't appear for me. It only appears for my children."
"What do you mean by that? Which one of us is your child?" Mickey said freaked out by the idea the Athena could be his mom.
"It is not you Mickey. It is Sammy." She said staring at Sammy to see his reaction.
Sammy stumbled backwards in surprise. Then when he finally gathered up the courage to say something he said "B-B-but my mom died when I was only a few months old. My father mourns almost every night because of her death. And now you're telling me that she's not only alive but she's a freaking goddess! That that's insane I mean no disrespect but are screwing with me or something cause this isn't funny."
Athena looked down sadly and said "I never wanted to hurt your father he is a good man. I did love him for a long time but, the goddess of strategy cannot be tied down to one man. I am very sorry Sammy that you had to of found out this way, I thought you're father would've told you by now."
Sammy interrupted "so you're telling me that my dad has known this whole time and never said anything."
"SAMMY!!!!" Artemis yelled. "Come here please we need to talk about this."
"Fine lets talk. Mickey you coming." Mickey nodded and all three of them walked away from the goddess.
"Sammy are you ok, cause you seem kinda shaken up about this?"
"Yea I'm fine. It's just what in the world just coming down here and being like oh hey Sammy I'm your mom and I have an extremely dangerous quest for you that you might not come back from so heres the map and good luck not dying."
Mickey smirked and said "but we have to go on this quest a goddess has given this to us we must do this Sammy you can't say no."
Sammy thought about this for a few minutes and the he said "Fine but if you guys don't have to go you don't have to, I would understand."
Artemis and Mickey looked at each other and then nodded and said in unison "we're going with you."
Sammy turned around and walked towards Athena and said "fine we'll do it, together but only if you give us weapons to defeat this monster."
"Then we have an agreement here are your weapons. Sammy you have received a sword. Artemis a bow and Mickey you have received a spear. Hold out your hands and they will appear."
They all held out their hands and stared at the weapons as they appeared they were all so stunned. Then they ran back to their houses to pack.
