Year 12168: The Valor of Hope and Trust
In the spanning days of new hopes and changes, the rebellion was ready to make another loud noise.
"Remember the plan!" Division 1 leader spoke. "Retribution, Old Baines will see!" he said. "Surround the city, bring all aerial power, and act interdependently, all eyes will be on that mothership!" he shouted. "Ten men died during the construction, so success, we must ensure!" he said. "Voices, they will hear aloud!"
"YES, SIR!" Division 1 and other divisions shouted.
"Brogan," the Division 1 leader said.
"You've taken a long time coming back to me," Brogan said.
"This is the chance, the only chance," the Division 1 leader said. "And this time, rats we ensure there wouldn't be! We made sure, that Old Baines will be left defenseless!" he said. "Old Baines will be a city of freedom!"
"Whatever you can carry, we want the compensation you promised,"
"Regardless of success and failure?"
Brogan repeated, "Regardless of success and failure."
"Brogan," Division 1 said. "Ideals, we are different. But dilemmas, we have the same: casualties, citizens, our team, we are fatigued in disappointment," he said. "So unless more lives need to be sacrificed, you will be compensated in success!" he said. "Dismissed."
"Brogan, a word!" Derrace called.
Brogan approached Derrace. "Any news on Han-Cho and Orama?"
"Don't you worry about them," Derrace responded.
"Then what is to worry? Your morals? Ethics? Lives?" Brogan questioned,
"My nephew was nearly killed by those scums!" Derrace angered. "I want them to pay, yes!" she firmly stated. "But fail, this is going to be. We don't have direction! We will lose resources, LOOK AT THE MIRROR!"
"I have looked enough," Brogan said. "Inner peace is not what we shall speak, it will only create white spaces," he said and held Derrace's shoulders. "For once, this is the rebellion's glorious moment," he said. "I need warriors, not worriers," he reminded. "Contact me, once the men are done."
Nearly a year into Lobertari's tenure as director of Bantargara, her leadership had already led to significant and noticeable progress within the company. Her efforts did not go unnoticed; the PPNI Minister, Petjaja, recognized her achievements and praised her, making her the longest-serving director post Ganto's resignation.
However, Lobertari's tenure was marked not only by her successes but also by the significant and transformative decisions she made. Through months of dedicated research, various projects, and numerous findings submitted, she revolutionized the company in every aspect. Instead of adhering to routine office work, she spearheaded change throughout Bantargara, refusing to let the company fall into a pattern of repetitive labor.
"Apa... yang Ibu Lobertari minta dari saya? (In Bahasa Indonesia: What... do you wish for me to do, Ms. Lobertari?)" asked Ambeno, who was a recently hired researcher.
Lobertari smiled and stood from her office table. "Lelaki pintar muda, saya tidak meminta, melainkan mengajak anda untuk meneliti (In Bahasa Indonesia: Young diligent man, I am not asking you, I am encouraging you to do research)" Lobertari clarified. "Jika benar, idaman kerja kamu itu, sepertinya anda baik dengan ilmuan kuantum—Bantargara yang pasti akan butuhkan keterampilanmu (In Bahasa Indonesia: If correct, your resume is, it seems you are great with quantum science—Bantargara could use your talents)"
