Inside the meeting rooms, all the scientists were watching the screen closely, their eyes glued to the live video from space. They had finally sent a small test version of their space converter into space. This was after many months of hard work, complicated math, and careful preparation. The project had been a grueling difficulty, marked by countless revisions and setbacks. Yet, their perseverance paid off.
The test converter accurately measured a speed of 1 meter per second. This was a big achievement and the result of their long and tough journey. However, while everyone else was celebrating and happy that the test converter was ready to use, Lobertari was thinking about something different.
"Semua dalam kerja keras, Bu Lobertari (In Bahasa Indonesia: All in the days of hard work, Ms. Lobertari)" Kalindi praised. "Ide anda sukses Bu Lobertari. Kita telah mencapaikan hal yang mustahil, dengan semua sumber yang kita punya. Kita sudah capai 1ms, sekarang kita bisa... (In Bahasa Indonesia: You're ideas were a success, Lobertari. We have achieved the impossible, with all the resources we have. We achieved 1ms, now we can...)"
"Kurang cepat ini (In Bahasa Indonesia: It's not fast enough)" Lobertari then said, and everyone was in full disbelief.
"Lan... kurang cepat? Maksudnya apa ini... (In Bahasa Indonesia: Lan... not fast enough? What do you mean...)" Kalindi confused.
"Kalian sudah dengar... kurang cepat (In Bahasa Indonesia: You heard me... not fast enough, it is)" Lobertari said.
"Lobertari... dengan kecepatan itu, ini bisa menawan daya-daya itu (In Bahasa Indonesia: Lobertari... with that speed, it is capable of capturing the forces)" Ambeno said.
"Untuk bisa bukan misinya (In Bahasa Indonesia: To be capable is not enough for the mission)" Lobertari thought. "Ini harus kerja, bukan bisa kerja (In Bahasa Indonesia: It needs to be working, not capable)"
"Lobertari, sumber-sumber yang kita perlukan untuk ulang lagi... (In Bahasa Indonesia: Lobertari, the resources we would need to retry this again...)" Talenggel responded.
"Kita akan ulang lagi, masih ada waktu (In Bahasa Indonesia: And we will, we still have time)" Lobertari said.
"Lobertari, kita sudah melebihi jangka waktunya tapak (In Bahasa Indonesia: Lobertari, we are way ahead of the site deadline)" Kalindi said. "Reka sudah bilang sendiri, sebelum periode kampanye, tapaknya harus kita siapkan dan konstruksi (In Bahasa Indonesia: They said it themselves, before the election campaign period, we need the site ready and constructed)" he said. "Apa yang ibu sedang pikirkan dengan leluhur itu? Kita tidak bisa memaksakan konverter untuk melebihi kecepatan petit hanya karena ibu terlalu ambisius untuk kecepatan lebih (In Bahasa Indonesia: What in the manner are you thinking?! We can't just force a converter to be quick in a flash just because you are ambitious for more speed)"
"Jika kita ingin Proyek Daya Antariksa sukses—sesuatu bangsa satupun tidak pernah lakukan—maka kita harus buatkannya sukses, bukan lagi percobaan (In Bahasa Indonesia: If we want to make Project Daya Antariksa a success—something no nation has ever done before—then we must make it successful, not a trial!)" Lobertari said. "Ada lagi yang harus saya tambahkan (In Bahasa Indonesia: Shall I have more to say?)"
None has much to say after hearing her words.
"Baiklah... saya akan laksanakan analisa diagnostik untuk bermulai (In Bahasa Indonesia: Well... I'll first run into the diagnostic analysis to start then)" Talenggel said.
"Budiman, tolong bantu Ibu Talenggel, lalu kunjungkan laporan logistik (In Bahasa Indonesia: Budiman, help Ms. Talenggel, then head over to the logistics reports)" Lobertari said.
