Day after day Lobertari's attempt to make the converter panel prototype process faster than 1ms was hitting a wall. The deadline set by the PPNI Minister raced over her, and despite endless brainstorming, she and her team couldn't find a viable solution. The constant micromanagement from various scientists and investors only added to the pressure, and each test continued to fall short of the 1ms target.
Lobertari frequently visited the test site, her mind obsessed with cosmic visions and simulations. Yet, even these moments of inspiration failed to yield results. During holidays, she roamed the office she literally lived in, jogging around for a change of scenery, and working late into the night. Budiman kept the space tidy and sorted papers, but even his efficiency couldn't alleviate her stress. Her frustration grew, manifesting in late-night fits where she would throw bottles and observe their motion, trying to grasp an feasible answer.
One holiday, at Budiman's insistence, she decided to take a break. It was during this rare respite that she experienced a peaceful sleep, a real noticeable contrast to her usual restless nights. In the wake of that sleep, the solution finally came to her, clear and confident. This unexpected clarity brought with it a new way to approach the problem, and she knew exactly how to execute it
She expressed her ideas on one very faithful morning.
"Saya tahu caranya—ada, caranya (In Bahasa Indonesia: I found it—a way, there is)" Lobertari faithfully said.
"Lobertari, saya berhak tidak bermaksud untuk ragukan pengujian selanjutnya, tetapi kita lagi pendek secara finansial (In Bahasa Indonesia: Lobertari, I do not mean to doubt your next test, but we are running short on finances)" said the deputy head of finance.
"Tetapi ini akan kerja (In Bahasa Indonesia: But this one will work)" Lobertari said. "Para kaum-kaum innovator apa yang kalian ketahui dengan tidur? (In Bahasa Indonesia: My fellow innovators, what can you tell about sleeping?)"
With such funny questions, they were dazzled.
"Ya... tidur memberi energi (In Bahasa Indonesia: Well... sleeping gives energy)" Ambeno thought.
"Dan? (In Bahasa Indonesia: And?)" Lobertari encouraged.
"Kita bisa lebih... menyamankan (In Bahasa Indonesia: We can be more... relaxed)" Talenggel understood.
"Nah itu (In Bahasa Indonesia: Exactly)" Lobertari said. "Dan jika kita sendiri nyaman, apalagi di luar antariksa, daya-daya yang cenderung di badan kita akan lebih mengedarkan secara seksama (In Bahasa Indonesia: And when you are relaxed, especially in outer space, the forces in your body is inclined to be distributed more equally)" she said. "Mungkinkah itu yang kita kehilangan sejauh ini (In Bahasa Indonesia: Maybe that's what we have been missing all along)"
"Tetapi, Ibu Lobertari, untuk menawan daya dan energi ini, mesinnya harus hidup (In Bahasa Indonesia: But, Ms. Lobertari, to capture the forces and the energy, the machine needs to stay alive)" Talenggel thought.
"Yang pasti, tetapi jika panel telah menawan dan memproses daya dan energi itu, apakah serusnya terus hidup? (In Bahasa Indonesia: Of course, but when the panel captures and processes it, does it have to be?)" Lobertari said. "Jika umat manusia tidur, komponen penting di sistem tubuh kita masih berfungsi... apalagi Proyek Daya Antariksa (In Bahasa Indonesia: When a human being sleeps, the core components of his body systems are still functioning... so will Project Daya Antariksa)" she proved, and everyone started to be convinced and uplifted. "Yang kita harus lakukan sekarang adalah untuk meluncurkan prototipe ini di luar angkasa, kita akan biarkan menawan 1ms, dan seefelah ditawan pada minimum tertentu, yang dilakukan setelahnya adalah untuk memudarkan, menghibernasikan, dengan penawanan yang nyaman untuk setersnya (In Bahasa Indonesia: What we need to do now is to launch the prototype to space, we let it capture at 1ms, and when it captured at an established minimum, all it needs is a relaxed, hibernated, 'cooled' capture for future and ongoing captured)" she said. "Saya sudah punya rencananya. Apakah kita semua sudah siap? (In Bahasa Indonesia: I have the plans ready. Are we ready to begin?)"
