Chapter 10- Oh Micah, That Dirty Rat

Welp, today was the day, the day we were forced to get that damn rat out of Jail, Arthur says "Good mornin' darling" giving me a brief kiss.

I say "Well good mornin' Mr. Morgan" Smirking, he says "I see" Smirking back, he says "You wanna ride with me to go get that rat?" I say "I would be delighted" laughing sarcastically.

We mount our horses and begin the journey to Strawberry, it's about a 2-hour ride from Valentine so we have plenty of time alone.

I say "What made you want to give me a promise ring" genuinely curious, he says "I...uh... I honestly didn't wanna lose you to someone else... and life is too short to wait around, I do things the gentleman way ya know?"

I say "Awe, you definitely weren't gonna lose me to someone else, I knew it was you from the beginning" looking over at him lovingly.

he says "So what do we do now?" "Regarding what Arthie Poo" Giggling, he says "Okay, dont call me that ever again haha"

I say "Okay, okay I'm sorry haha, does this mean we'll be gettin' married? i know not anytime soon, not with Pinkertons, O'Driscolls, and whoever is stalking us at the time"

he says "This might sound a lil crazy but since it'll be a month a Sundays until we can actually have a ceremony, we shouldn't act like we ain't, make sense?" I say "I agree, but if the creek dont rise well be hitched when this all passes over yonder" blushing.

he says "I agree" Laughing, I say "But for real, I wanna do things right" blushin' he says "I know darling" I say "So what does that make us? Just curious?" giggling, he says "Well how id like to see it as is quarting, so were not married but working towards it, but you're Mrs. Morgan" I say "sounds like a dream" blushing.

 soon we find a stagecoach sitting on the side of the road and I call out to the driver, once we get closer we see he's dead, so Arthur and I dismount our horses and free the four horses from the stagecoach seeing them run wild and free once again.

I stand there smilin' as Arthur says "You find beauty in such little things" Smiling, I say "Nothin' more beautiful than seeing horses roam free"

he says "Darlin' you know you're the best beautiful sight" grabbing my waist, pulling me in kissing me passionately, which lasts quite a bit.

He breaks off by saying "As much as I'd love to sit and kiss you all my days, let's go get Micah, we're almost there" I say "We got time for that anyways my love, Micah, he ain't got the sense God gave a goose, he thinks the sun comes up just to hear em crow" sighing to myself.

Arthur just bursts into laughter, and mounts our horses, once again, once we're almost in Strawberry, I say "Arthur, there's a man over there!" he says "Hey there partner, can we help ya?"

the man tells us he needs a ride into Strawberry I say "Feller, it's your lucky day, we're heading into Strawberry" smiling kindly at the stranger.

we drop him off and I say "Welp, let's get on with it" strollin' Snowflake over to the sheriffs, we walk in asking for Micah and they quickly kick us out, tellin' us to get lost so we walk out.

we hear Micah shoutin' at us so we walk over, he says "It's about damn time you got me outta here, well hey Ms. Adler, you came to help me get out" smirking.

I say "It's Mrs. Morgan to you, Micah" soundin' quite harsh, Micah says "WHAT!? YOU MARRIED THIS HAG?" Arthur says "First of all, you're NOT gonna talk about MY wife like that, EVER, two, yes I did and it was the best decision I've ever made, three I'm debatin' on if I should even let you out of here"

Micah says "Dutch wouldn't be very happy if you did that" Knowing he's right, I say "Maybe we should just leave and say we tried and we were too late" smirking.

Micah says "YOU..." Arthur cuts in saying "YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR GOSH DAMN MOUTH BOAH, YOU BETTER WATCH WHO YOURE TALKING TO, THATS MY WIFE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT if you wanna get out of here you're gonna show her sum respect" grabbing his belt.

I think "holy hell, this man, I can't believe he just called me his wife, he's so fine" Zoning out, staring at Arthur, he says  "Darlin' baby, sweetheart, Y/N"

I unzone out saying "Huh... yeah?" Arthur says "Baby, I asked you to grab the hook for me" Smiling softly, I say "Oh, I'm sorry, yeah here you go" handing him the weird-looking hook.

he says "Put it on the cell, and then come back over here so you're safe" now starting to pull the lever for the hook, the door is soon getting yanked off causing the sheriffs to come out shooting.

we all equip our bandanas over our faces so we dont get caught, I shout "GET ON THE HORSES AND GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!" meanwhile, Micah starts shooting everyone, missing most of them, Arthur says "Or not" Chucklin' as we start shootin' at literally everyone.

Micah basically leaves us to defend ourselves, once most of the town of Strawberry is dead, Micah says "I've got a friend to go see" and he barges into his house, I say "he's makin' a damn housecall in the middle of all of this!?" continuing to shoot innocent people because of Micah.

we hear three different gunshots in the house as Micah comes out with more guns, he says "Had to get my guns" Laughing manicly, we just ignore what he said as our focus is on getting out of here alive.

I call our horses over as we run out of the town of strawberry guns blazing as the law is chasing us down, Arthur says "What the hell did you pull back there!? makin' a damn house call in the middle of all that!?"

micah says "I had to get my guns" I say "Your gosh damn guns dont mean a damn thing, WE SHOT UP A WHOLE TOWN FOR NO GOSH DAMN REASON!!!"

Micah says spittingly "Shut up" Arthur says, in a low growling tone "Micah if you ever... speak to my wife with disrespect ONE MORE GOSH DAMN TIME, I WILL shoot a bullet through your skull" Meanwhile, I'm fellin' all hot now due to Arthur sending me so effortlessly.

Micah says "tell dutch ill be back when can get a peace offering, I've been a bad boy" and rides off, Arthur says "I swear y/n, if he talks down to you one more gosh damn time, I will not hesitate to shoot a bullet through had head, I dont care if Dutch kicks me outta the gang, I won't tolerate disrespect towards my wife" grabbing my hand romantically.

I say " that was really hot" smirking, he says "Oh yeah?" smirking even more, I say "yeah I got all bothered back there, you takin' up fer me like you did" lookin' at him with dark, deep eyes, he says "Well I love you darlin" smiling.  

once  we got back to the camp we did some chores and everything we needed to get done for the day.

that next morning, we got ready for the day, Dutch says "wheres Micah?" I say "We got him out, said he couldn't come back until he had a peace offering, and how he's been baaaaad boy, his words not mine"

Dutch says "Thank you guys for going and getting him, i know how much you dont like him so thank you" smiling.

meanwhile, Arthur kisses me gently and goes over to John as they talk about something I can't hear, I go to Abigail telling her everything that happened.

I think to myself "Wow, just when I thought he was perfect, he just keeps getting more and more perfect"
