Chapter 18- That Was Eventful

I get woken up by hearing Pierson and Sadie shouting at each other, Sadie's shouting how she doesn't wanna chop veggies and claims shell work but not that.

Sadie shouts "You're a pig-faced mutt whom I'll gladly serve for dinner!!" Pierson says "You're a fish wife!!" I walk up "HEY! Stop, both of you, Sadie I'm going into town with Jane to get some supplies you're comping with me" walking off to the wagon.

I see arthur watching me from his tent as I continue what I'm doing, sadie is being slow "You coming damn woman?" she says "Oh I'm coming you sour puss!" getting on the wagon.

Jane says "Thank you for inviting me y/n, I needed to get out of that camp, Grimshaw is gonna be the death of me" giggling, us girls just giggle and chat the whole way there.

Once were arrived in Rhodes, I said "alright, me and Jane will get the supplies, Sadie you stay and watch the wagon" Aside then pulled a gun "imma shoot the shopkeeper!"  I slap her hand and Sadie says "Aren't we outlaws!?" I say  "Sadie were outlaws we ain't dumb!"

Myself and Jane head into the store while Sadie stays outside, I tell Jane imma go post something in the post office, and then I'll be right back, I come back and the wagon is loaded.

on the drive home Odriscolls start shootin' at us so I hand the reins to Jane as Sadie and I shoot the men, sadie says "NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL FUN!!!" I say "That was not gonna lie! ' giggling.

we arrive back to camp, John shouts "WHO IS IT!?" I say "ITS ME DUMBASS" John just laughs at my response, I say "John help me unload this stuff" 

as he begins helpin' take the stuff to piersons station, I say "Ya know John, you must be nervous bein' this close to the water" Smirking, he says "Let me guess, arthur told you I can't swim?" I say "he certainly did" giggling.

he says "asshole" as we laugh, I say "John, you're like a brother to me" Smiling, he says "Thanks y/n, you're like my sister" smiling sweetly. 

I see Dutch, arthur, and Hosea walk off with their fishing poles, so I assume they're going fishin' sometime later, they come back as Dutch says "We got food! y/n, you should've came with us" 

I say "Oh I ain't much of a fisher Dutch, but thanks for the thought" Dutch says "I'm the only one that fought somethin' Hosea failed multiple times" laughing gutfully.

I say "Oh is that so?" Hosea says "I ended up catchin' somethin' Dutch! it was arthur that only caught one" Chucklin.

Tilly walks up to me sighing, I say "What's wrong Tilly?" she says "Do you think Dutch would be mad if I killed Ms. Grimshaw?" I say "Well Dutch dont like killin' people in camp except for a snitch" giggling.

she says "I want to give her a slice of arsenal" I laugh a heartful laugh "Do it discreetly" laughing along with her.

dutch walks up to me, "Hey y/n would you ride with me to Rhodes?" I say "What for?" he says "We're goin' to do some work for the sheriff, wanna come?" I say "Sure why not, gimme a minute to get ready"

walking off to get ready for the mission, I walk over to the horses and see Bill, Dutch, and arthur, I say "alright girl, let's go" to Snowflake.

we ride off into the town as Sheriff Gray tells us that some bad men stole some moonshine down in the swamps so we ride off to collect it.

we find some leads on where they are as we find their hide moments later, Dutch tells me to go with him to plant the dynamite so we get all of it planted and blow the place up, taking the moonshiners hostage.

arthur interrogates them for a bit, after the sheriff takes them into the station, dutch offers to race me and arthur back to camp, which I accept.

soon into the race arthur says "You okay back there old man?" he says "Just fine son!" flying past him, I say "Neither one of you are gonna beat me!" me and Dutch kept passing each other, which made us keep laughing.

I beat both boys back to camp, as I feel a tremendous amount of pride, meaning I beat The Count, one of the fastest horses in camp.

once we arrive in camp it is around supper time so we all eat, i sit with Sadie and Jane, and as we continue to chat and giggle, i see Lenny sitting on the bench so I walk over shoutin' "LENNNNYYYYYYY" he says "oh gosh no, it's all coming back to me!' laughing.

I say "Good times, good times" walking off to my tent, all throughout the day arthur has been glancing over at me, which I attempt to ignore.

I walk over to Abigail "Hey there! How's it goin'? she says "Alright y/n! you? how are you handling things?" I say "I'm doin' alright, tryin' not to think bout it much, I do miss him though" 

she says "yall will work things out" Smiling, I say "Thank you, Abigail, well imma head to bed, goodnight" and I walk over to my tent, getting cozy and falling fast asleep thankfully.
