"Doctor....emergency! Please jaldi aaiye."
A silent corridor of the hospital buzzed up with the scream of a nurse and three ward boys who brought two stretchers inside the hospital.
They both were shifted to the Operation Theatre immediately. Tears flew down Abhinav's cheeks. The only thing in his mind was Akshara's smiling face. His heart beating faster with every memory that flashed in his mind.
The beautiful momemts which he always wanted to cherish....seemed to fade away slowly as he was slowly drifting into a world of darkness.
Last night, On the terrace, Abhir was lying down on the floor when Abhinav came up with the pillows.
Abhinav: Nikke jii...aa jaaun main bhi? Abhir turned his face to the other side but Abhinav lied down beside him with a smile on his face.
" Kaam nahi hua nikke jii...." Abhir turned to Abhinav with a sad pout. Abhir: Kya papa aap bhi? Itna accha mauka diya tha aapko......maine naraaz hone ka natak bhi kar liya taa ki aap dono ko wakt mile aur aap mumma se jaa kar keh sako ki aap kya feel karte ho unke liye lekin aap toh.....chodo aap. Abhinav(with a cute pout): Aisa mat bol na Abhir.....kuch kar na beta. Abhir: Sabse pehle aap decide kar lo papa ki aap kya kahoge mumma se.....ya fir aap na pehle mujhe batao ki mumma aapke liye kitna matter karti hain.
Abhinav(with a smile): Chaand ko dekh raha hain? Vo chaand na......humara ghar hain....humara Sharma house aur vo dono...(pointing out at stars)....main stars vo teri mumma aur main hoon. Teri mumma...(sighing)....meri life ka hissa hain. Unke bina.....meri life hi adhuri hain. Vo meri vo poori zindagi hain....meri zindagi ka ek aisa ahem hissa hain jiske bina zindagi ka koi matlab hi nahi hain. Tujhe pata hain nikke jii.....(teary eyed).....mera toh sab kuch chinn gaya tha lekin fir Kanha jii ne mujhe Akshara jii se milwaya.....tujhse aur Abhira se milwaya.....aur meri berang zindagi mein rang bharr diya.

Abhir: Aww! So sweet.....jab itna pyaar karte ho....toh ab tak bola kyun nahi? Abhinav: Mauka hi nahi mila nikke jii bolne ka. Par bol doonga.....bohot jaldi bol doonga teri mumma se......(hugging Abhir)(with a smile)...I love you Akshara jii.
A tear flew down Abhinav's cheek as this memory faded in his conscience replacing it with another memory.
Flashback,
Abhinav sat beside Akshara blushing....not making eye contact with each other, their mind and heart filled with new dreams of living together and staying with each other forever after confessing their love for each other.
Abhinav(in mind)(with a smile): Aaj Akshara jii ko apne dil ki baat bata hi doonga. Akhara(in mind): Pata nahi kaise react karenge Abhinav jii.....par jo bhi ho....main hamesha unke saath hi rahungi..chahe kaise bhi halat kyun na ho. Abhinav(in mind): Chahe kaise bhi halat kyun na ho....main Akshara jii aur humare bacchon ko koi pareshaani nahi hone doonga..... Akshara(in mind): Kisi dukh ko unke paas bhatakne ka mauka hi nahi doongi.... Abhinav(in mind): Meri saari khushiyaan unke naam kar doonga..... Akshara(looking at Abhinav with a smile): Hum dono ke beech ab kisi ko nahi aane doongi main.....na hi dukh aur na hi mera ateet. Abhinav(in mind)(with a smile): Hum dono ek nayi shuruwaat karenge humare bacchon ke saath......aur hamesha ek saath rahenge.....khush rahenge. Akshara(in mind)(with a smile): Hum saath mein humare bacchon ki zimmedariyaan uthaenge..... Abhinav(with a smile)(in mind): Saath mein budhe honge.....aur saath mein apni zindagi hasi khushi guzarenge...for sure. Akshara(with a smile): Aaj ke baad....humari zindagi hamesha ke liye badal jaaegi. Abhinav(with a smile): Bhale hi hum dono thode wakt ke liye alag ho rahe hain....humare bacchon ke paas lekin..... Abhinav(placing his hand on Akshara's)(with a smile): Akshara jii...hum jald milenge. Akshara nodded with a wide smile on her face.
Suddenly.....she felt a pressure on her head from the back and her hand got detached from Abhinav's.
It took her a moment to realize that their bus got into an accident with another bus. As her eyes saw Abhinav lying on the floor of the bus unconscious with blood all over his shirt......her head crashed with the glass of the window....and within a moment....there she lay....infront of Abhinav.....tears flowing down her cheeks....her body throbbing with pain, her vision getting blurred but her heart squeezing in pain as she looked at Abhinav lying on the dusty floor of the bus....staring at her teary eyed.
Flashback ends.
"Abhinav!"screamed Akshara as she sat up....her head throbbing with pain and her blurry vision figuring out the surroundings only to find out it to be a hospital room.
Soon as nurse entered the room and helped her to sit comfortably. Nurse: Doctor....patient ko hosh aa gaya hain. The nurse was leaving when Akshara held her hand. Akshara: Nurse...mujhe...Abhinav jii ke paas le kar chaliye please.......mujhe milna hain unse...please. The nurse: Kaun Abhinav? Akshara: Mere pati.....vo bhi the uss bus mein. The nurse: Oo...vo jo aapke saath aaye the? Unhe toh aapke relative ne dusre hospital mein shift karwa diya. Akshara: Par kyun? The nurse: Kyunki vo unke treatment ke liye paise dene ke liye ready nahi the....isiliye he shifted him to a government hospital. Akshara(teary eyed): Aur aap logon ne unhe roka nahi? Unhe mujhse bhi zyada chot aayi thi aur aapne......mujhe milna hain unse.....jaana hain unke paas.... Saying this Akshara tried to come down from the bed but couldn't as her head started spinning. Nurse: Dekhiye....aap leti rahiye....aapka abhi 48 hours pehle operation hua hain. Akshara(teary eyed): Please....main aapke aage haath jodti hoon....please mujhe mere pati ke paas le chaliya....please....unhe meri zaroorat hain. Nurse: Dekhiye aap samajhne ki kosish kijiye......doctor ne aapko 3 mahine tak complete bed rest bola hain....aise mein main aapko kaise kahi aur le kar jaa sakti hoon? Akshara(teary eyed): Accha theek hain.....mat le kar jaaiye mujhe lekin please unhe iss hospital mein shift karwa dijiye......jitne bhi paise lagenge main bhar doongi. Nurse: Ma'am....yeh teen din purani baat hain. Aap kal poore din beshosh thi.....ab main kaha se..... Akshara(teary eyed): Please....please mujhe bata dijiye....meri thodi si help kar dijiye...please. Nurse(sighing): Accha theek hain....main dekhti hoon main kya kar sakti hoon. Saying this the nurse left.
Akshara(teary eyed): Please Kanha jii.....Abhinav jii ko mila dijiye mujhse....main unke bina nahi jee paaungi....please.
"Aur humare bina?"
Akshara turned around only to find Manish standing there with his plastered hand.
