Yejin along with Mi cha, Soo ah, and Ji Yoo settled in the audience before the first match of inter school competition could be started. The other three were pretty excited since it meant watching hot shots of another schools playing tense matches and that too for few hours straight.
Not to forget how Mi cha kept holding Yejin's arm in pure excitement, giggling and looking cheered up since his crush Jaemin, would be leading their school.
"Ugh I can't wait to see him in shorts and sleeveless jersey while looking so mad during the game." She let out an exaggerated breath resting her head on Yejin's shoulder while the other two kept laughing at her fangirling.
Yejin smiled in between and kept feeding Micha's delusion but still her thoughts were pretty disturbed today.
Yesterday's incident where Ha-Eun, her so called ex best friend from middle school, which has now made boys her entire personality kept clinging to Ni-ki and not that he even stopped her from doing it either.
This made her somewhat upset. She knew Ha-Eun well, even better than anyone, since she has been a victim of her sweetness once and that is what pissed her off.
Her friends the entire time kept talking and giggling whereas Yejin couldn't even bring herself to act and be bubbly like she usually does.
Her eyes went in the direction where the athletes of their school was sitting in a corner as a group, and she had to admit that it became extremely impossible for her to not be bothered upon watching the interaction both Ni-ki and Ha-Eun were having, not like there were no other boys, but she didn't cared about them.
Seeing Ha-Eun covered with boys all the time wasn't a surprising scene to gawk at, but it was when watching Ni-ki being friendly with her.
She was right indeed.
She knew at the end he was like every other boy. But unknowingly she didn't enjoy the fact that her prediction turned out to be true.
Zoning out, she kept staring in their direction, obviously her facial expressions weren't really sweet, when Ni-ki suddenly looked back at her, catching her off guard when she quickly turned away and tried to be invested in whatever her friends were chit chatting about.
Ni-ki felt his heartbeat racing at the speed of light, like he'll actually die out of blushing when he caught her staring at him. And for the fact he knew that it wasn't just a "quick glance" and that he was being delusional, he knew from his heart that she was staring at him.
