𓏲ּ author's perspective :

The second round of the event began as expected of their school team, they were in the lead.

Especially Ni-ki and Jaemin, their coordination went so well in hand to hand as to which they won the first half, wrapping up the game in five minutes.

Ni-ki during the break went to their group, and upon drinking water, he was having discussions with Jaemin, creating strategies to sum the next half pretty quickly too.

Meanwhile here Mi cha couldn't resist herself from blushing as she stood up, too engrossed into planning the initiative for her first move.

No more crushing around.

She wanted to take a shot and make the other three around her slightly confused from the sudden boost of energy. She looked at Yejin, raising her eyebrows as if ordering her to stand up as well.

"You're high or what!?" Yejin asked in response but that couldn't shake the determination Mi cha had in her eyes.

"I'm going to confess to Jaemin today."

"WHAT?!?!!" The three of them yelled in unison, earning looks from the others around.

"No relationships before school. Not at all." Yejin spoke up in a clear tone, her face pretty much serious.

"Who said I'm going to be in a relationship? I'm just confessing today. It's already been 3 years and I can't keep up with this."

Mi cha protested back as Yejin held her hand and made their way out of the audience, leading her to one of the empty classrooms.

"Mi cha you're hyped right now because Jaemin is in sweat, leading others around." Making the lovergirl get annoyed a bit.

"No you're not understanding it's now or never, I'm going and you're coming." Yejin sighed at her stubbornness.

Not like she doesn't want her friends to have a boyfriend but she knows it's not worth it.

Infact they'll be regretting all this in their life later.

And knowing Jaemin's influence in their school, she was just worried and wanting to look out after Mi cha. Even if it meant portraying herself badly.

"Fine but just don't flow in the emotions okay?" She asked, her voice softening when Mi cha nodded with a faint smile, squeezing Yejin's hand for moral support.

The two of them walked up to the team's spot, pretty much confident as they still had 10 minutes before the next half.

Upon getting closer, Mi cha's heart beat was so loud that Yejin could feel her friend's hand shaking from nervousness. Yejin then fisted her hand and mumbled *hwaiting!* as they finally approached the duo.
