I had been invited out with the Inner Circle to Rita's. The bane of my life.
I was never much one for clubbing, and after what Cassian said about this place, I don't think I was expecting to have an amazing time. As long as Azriel didn't plan on taking anyone else home, I would be fine.
"I don't know guys this feels a bit much" the little black dress Feyre had let me borrow hugged my body like a glove, my boobs were a little bigger than hers and I felt like they were going to fall out if I leant over, either that or my ass.
"that's the whole point! It's meant to feel a little slutty, get the boys attention"
"I've already got the boys attention" I muttered to myself, pulling the dress down with a sigh. I did look good though. The smokey eyeliner Mor had done on me really topped the look off. I just added a little glitter to the lids and my lips before stepping out to show them.
They lounged on my balcony chairs with a glass of wine in front of them. Feyre saw me first, grinning like a cat.
"wow," Mor's eyes ran across me appreciatively "you sure you've got your eyes set on Az?"
"Sorry Mor" I winked "you two sure it's okay?"
"definitely" Feyre assured "you'll fit right in, let's hope you get a little action as well"
"you two are terrible" I chided, but I could feel the confidence at their words setting in, pouring myself a glass of wine and downing it as they stood.
"my, my, what a night it shall be"
Rita's wasn't far from mine, a twenty minute walk at most and as we neared I could feel the music thrumming through my body.
"and why doesn't Amren come with you?"
"she likes this time alone, prefers to read instead" I couldn't blame her, I imagine it gets pretty busy back at their house.
"fair enough" I stuck close to the two of them as we entered. People paid us no mind, and I could see why they would like it here. Not being stared at, being able to have fun without the whole Inner Circle image becoming a problem.
I felt shadows lap at my feet, grinning down at the little buggers as they grazed up my legs. Naughty little things.
We neared a table in the corner where the boys sat, drinks already in hand, half finished.
"Finally!" Cassian jumped up in greeting, eyes not lingering in politeness. "you took forever"
"We had work to do, you think it's easy looking this good?"
"we can't all just throw on a different top and call it a day" Feyre defended with Mor and I chuckled.
Azriel looked good, really good. Dark trousers and a black buttoned up shirt that was open across his chest, sleeves rolled to his elbows. His hair was gelled, yet it still managed to fall in his eyes. Blue siphons reflected from the lights in here, his wings almost invisible in the darkness, yet they appeared every few seconds with help from the strobes.
"you'll catch flies, youngen" Rhys teased, and I narrowed my eyes at him, feeling his smirk crawl in my mind.
Such thoughts you have about my dear brother.
My nails dug into my hand, feeling him stirring through said thoughts and they flashed before my eyes.
"Rhys" Feyre scolded, fanning her face "settle down"
"I was just curious how innocent the little lamb was" he admitted, purple eyes flicking to Azriel with a wide smirk before he put his arm around Feyre's shoulder, now that she had joined him in the booth. "she almost gives us a run for our money"
