Heeseung - February 24th, 2026

This past month has been quite nice, actually. For me, at least. Mainly because Jay had to go back to California for some schedules with the band. And that meant that I could get some decent sleep.

But alas, the band was visiting once again. I wanted to be mad about it, but Jungwon's excitement made it difficult. He's less energetic when Jay's not around. I don't know why they won't just start dating already, but it's not my problem, I guess. I just hope that he's not secretly stringing Jungwon along.

I haven't spoken to Jake since January, mainly because I've been taking advantage of Jay being gone. But my plan was to go back to the bar tonight. That way Jungwon can have his alone time while I hope that I get lucky enough to talk to Jake again. And maybe scrounge up the courage to ask for his number. Maybe.

So off I went, right for the bar. It didn't seem to be very busy this time, so I managed to park at the front and head inside.

Sunoo didn't notice me this time, but I didn't bother to get his attention. I took a seat at the counter across from Yeji. "Hey. How's it been?"

"Hey, Heeseung," she smiled. This time she had her hair pulled into a cute ponytail. I wonder how she kept her hair so vibrant. "I've been pretty good. I've actually...started dating someone!"

"Really?" I raised my brows. "Who?"

"Her name's Ryujin. Sunoo's new roommate, remember?" I watched Yeji attempt to hide her flustered grin.

"You know her?" I chuckled.

"Yeah. She comes here a lot," She shrugged. "How have you been?"

"Pretty good. Just been-"

I jolted around when something grazed my back. Someone's hand. Sunghoon's hand. A face I hadn't seen in months and never wanted to see again. His gaze was fixated on Yeji's. "Where is he?"

Yeji's face fell and showed only raw anger. Actually pretty scary. "None of your fucking business."

"Don't fight me on this," Sunghoon slammed his hands on the table, raising his voice. It managed to make most of the chatter throughout the bar stop. "Tell me where he is."

"Get out!" Yeji pointed towards the door. "You are not welcome here."

"Yeah, right," he scoffed, turning his back to the both of us. I could tell he spotted Sunoo, sadly, since he quickly stomped off and went straight for his stage.

"Ugh, great," I rubbed my forehead roughly. I knew that this was partially Jay's fault. It just had to be. That'd be the only way that Sunghoon figured out his workplace. I dropped my head onto the counter, knowing that there was no way to really stop Sunghoon by this point.
