Chapter one

The four members of BLACKPINK had just arrived back in Korea from their final concert in Japan at the  Fukuoka Dome. The girls were excited for a break after such a long tour, but they were also excited to hear what YG has planned next for them.

Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé walk into the YG Building, glancing at the new YG building that all artists, employees, and other important staff members of the company would be moving into soon once YG himself announced that it is finally finished.
The girls walked into YG's office, respectfully greeting him as they sat down in front of him, "thank you girls for coming in. I will make this visit as short as possible because I know you girls must be tired so I will get straight to it." YG said as the girls nodded, having their full attention onto the CEO, "so the first thing I want to reveal before I tell you about the plan as far as music related things go is that I have made the executive decision to add another member into BLACKPINK" Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé were speechless at the news YG just laid on them. The girls knew that this happened before to Red Velvet a year or so after they debuted, but the girls were more nervous of the possible hate they could get although it wasn't like they weren't already getting hated for whatever reason the world of K-pop decided to hate on them for but they weren't worried about the hate they would get but the hate that their new member would possibly receive once the news hit of this major change in BLACKPINK. YG continued after a few minutes of silence, "now I am not gonna announce this news right away. I now want to tell you the plan as far as music is concerned. You girls along with your new group member will be recording BLACKPINK's first full length album" YG said and the girls immediately broke out into smiles and celebrated that after almost 4 years after debut, they were finally getting their first real album and not a EP. YG told them all the plans and stuff regarding any music video recordings, photo shoots, and other things. YG even let the girls know the name of their new group member Kim MinJee.

The girls headed to their dorm where they immediately did their own little thing for a while to get relaxed and settle in before they came together later that night to eat dinner together and talk about things, "I'm honestly nervous about the concept of having a new member but I'm also excited about it as well" Lisa said as the others nodded, "I'm scared because of the hate we all receive, we have kinda learned at this point to handle it and do our very best to not let it affect us but I'm scared that MinJee will be more vulnerable to it" Jennie said softly as Rosé agreed, "while this news is unexpected altogether, we are gonna treat her like she has been in the group this entire time and we will take care of her" Jennie nodded and smiled as Jisoo and Lisa also did.

The girls said their good nights to each other and went to their rooms to get a much needed good nights rest, awaiting tomorrow where they would be meeting MinJee.
